
Spectrum changes in server settings.......
Hello--
Back when sending and receiving emails was "paradise" (as of yesterday) with Spectrum, now we are having big problems......
We had no problems sending and receiving - even after Spectrum bought Brighthouse - by using "mail.twc.com" (twc=timewarnercable) as our protocol for both incoming and outgoing.
Yesterday, that all changed and now I CAN receive emails, but I CANNOT send emails (see error message attached). Spectrum has changed their servers.
Spectrum states that we must use webmail.spectrum.net as our incoming and outgoing POP settings. But when I change the entries in my Thunderbird account I am told that Thunderbird does not acknowledge changes.
So, I need to know what I have to do to get Thunderbird and Spectrum to talk to each other and what settings I need to use to receive and send emails from my Spectrum (used to be Brighthouse) email account.
