Disable horizontal scrolling
Using a Wacom tablet with Firefox makes scrolling a pain. If during scrolling I move the pen slightly to the side, Firefox registers this as a sideway scrolling gesture. Many pages will flip to a different view/page. This means that when I try to scroll down, I am almost guaranteed to move the pen a few millimeters to the side, trigger the sideways scrolling and land on a completely different page. Other browsers just ignore horizontal scrolling completely.
One example of such a website is DuckDuckGo (https://duckduckgo.com/?q=horizontal+scrolling). Scrolling horizontally will move between the tabs "Web", "Images" and "Videos".
I have yet to find an option in the settings or in about:config that disables horizontal scrolling. I have tried setting "toolkit.scrollbox.horizontalScrollDistance" to 0 and 100, with no perceivable effect. I also did not find any promising add-ons.
How can I disable horizontal scrolling?
