I can not get my Spectrum email to work in Thunderbird. I have called my ISP and everything is set properly and still no email. Does Thunderbird not work with Spectrum?

When I use Firefox, Every. Single. Time. I log into gmail, all the instructions are in Chinese. If I just log out, default is Chinese. Do I need to change my email address? Gmail is my work email, also, and it doesn't happen with that account at work, but the default browser is Chrome.

Yes, I've repeatedly changed the language back to English. I have 2-step verification for logging in. I just changed my password, closed all browsers, reset trusted devices. Did not help. If I use Mozilla Firefox, when I type in gmail.com, my email addresses are in English; everything else is Chinese.

I noticed that on Brave or any chromium based browser (Android), I would be able to just simple highlight part of an URL and then the whole url would be automatically selected. This behaviour is not possible on Firefox (Android) and I would have to manually select the whole URL myself. Please see here for a clearer picture: demonstration Is there a setting that I can possibly turn on to have the same function as in Brave or chromium browsers?

We had a power failure last night. Now i cannot post to Historum (although I can read it). Error message says "Oops! We ran into some problems. Please try again later. More error details may be in the browser console." I've been on this for 2+ hours, have restarted and cannot understand console message.

Since it appeared that firefox was somehow "merging" the two tags into one, I reversed the order to this to see if the new first var would post. The system is working again. chatAI suggested a few things like updating firefox (I did) , but nothing they suggested worked. Only my reversal worked.

Hi When I'm watching videos on Firefox especially while on YouTube, the whole browser turns white for a few seconds. It sometimes pauses the whole video but almost every time the audio is still playing and I can't see the video. I looked at other similar problems but turning on and off hardware acceleration does nothing. I have the latest GPU drivers and I'm using a laptop.

I'm having an issue where PDF files I download are blurry when I zoom in on them in Firefox, but when I use, for example, Edge, it zooms in fine. I've tried reinstalling Firefox, but it didn't make any difference. It happens to all PDFs I've tried.

I am changing the password authentication on two email accounts (two different Windows laptops) from "normal password" to "Oauth". Same version of TBird on each laptop. As the last step in this simple process, a GoDaddy window/web page pops up asking to verify Microsoft365 account credentials. On one laptop (Win7), this window contains a normal display with fields to enter password, etc. I am able to complete the process on this laptop, and it works fine. On the second laptop (Win11), the process is the same, and the same window appears, but it is blank. There are no fields to enter the required data. I've worked on this for a week now, changing default browsers, various settings, and have spent much time on the phone with GoDaddy support, all to no avail. I suspect the problem is in TBird, but I have no idea how to find it. Support for "Normal Password" authentication has been dropped, so this email account will not work until I change authentication to "Oauth". Help.

Am using Mozilla Firefox installed via flatpak on openSUSE. Certain pdfs display correctly but other pdfs displayed with Firefox (either locally or online) are displayed badly: spaces are replaced with a lower half block character, fonts not sharp. I installed Firefox from the openSUSE repos (not from flathub) and opened the same pdf and it displayed correctly. I downloaded the pdf and opened it using Okular and no problems. I also opened the “troublesome” pdfs on Firefox in Windows and it displays correctly. I conclude that the flatpak version of Firefox is causing some pdfs to display incorrectly but I don’t know why.

I installed flatseal to tweak the flatpak Firefox’s settings but nothing seemed to fix the pdf display issue. Please see screenshot below of how Firefox (from openSUSE repos, on the left hand side) and Firefox (from flathub, on the right hand side) display the same pdf from the internet. The online pdf in the screenshot and used as an example of the issue can be found at:

Not sure why some pdfs display correctly in Firefox from flathub and others display incorrectly. I’d prefer to use flatpak’s sandboxed Firefox if possible. Is there anyone else with the same problem or someone who who found a solution to this issue?

I'm using Firefox Nightly and the "suggested logins" bar at the bottom is still there, even after I have already logged in to youtube on the website. Actually, it's still on this tab as well, while I am already logged in to Mozilla.
