Hi

I'm having some confusion as to how to change what tabs are synced across to other devices under my account. I have my chosen tabs all pinned and I even have them saved as bookmarks that I've synced that I can load up in Chrome. However, when I go to the three horizontal lines button and clicking on my account name/email address, it's showing me tabs that are synced to one of my other devices (in this case, my laptop), but the tabs aren't quite right. There's a couple that are old now that I want removed. The double arrows showing me more extensions/options comes up with Synced Tabs, but they're also showing the same incorrect ones. Even when it synchronizes, it never changes anything.

What's the correct way of changing/removing tabs in Firefox and then syncing them?

There are many mainstream websites that have stopped functioning in firefox that work perfectly fine when switching over to brave and enabling scripts

these are not obscure sites, they are sites for privacy protecting entities hence the lack of function on firefox is perplexing

how do we make these sites work in firefox again to save the switching to brave?

I have been using Firefox 52.9.0, and I know it is outdated but it still synced until a few days ago at least. Then the other day I updated my password to strengthen security. After that, I am unable to sync anymore. Is there a way to fix it? I need to continue to use Firefox 52.9.0. Please note that I do not need to be told about security issues as I am aware of them well enough.

I get the following message when I try to make Firefox to sync:

On the landing page for youtube, I used to be able to right mouse click on a video thumbnail and select "open image in a new tab" from the context menu and see the thumbnail in a new tab window.

After recent updates, (now using 111.0.1 64bit , on windows 10 pro), this feature no longer exists. It's not a change on youtube because the thumbnail is still recognized as an image and can be opened in a new tab when I use Edge browser. It seems like Firefox no longer recognizes the thumbnail as an image.

Is there any setting I can change to get the feature of "open image in new tab" back into the context menu. or somehow get Firefox to recognize the thumbnail as an image ?

Hi there! My Website layout not properly show in Firefox browser as shown on other browsers like chrome, apple browser and others. page width shows to short. Is that browser issue or my website? Note: I used some WP plugins in my website.

Firefox very often crashes on exit. It's been doing it for some time now, but am not sure exactly when it started.

I have updated to the latest version 113.0.2 (64 bit), am on Windows 10 which is also up to date. I have tried clearing the cache.

When trying to play videos on my laptop they look terrible. The video is completely blown out and doesnt apear as it should. When turnnig on the troubleshoot mode it fixes it but then the video becomes choppy. I cant attach a photo because it looks normal when a screenshot is taken

I have 2 profiles in use. 1 for personal use with their respective bookmarks, passwords, and extensions, and I have no trouble syncing with this one. However; profile 2 that is for work use that has its respective bookmarks, passwords and extensions, has become a nightmare.

It happens that I have both profiles on the same computer and when trying to create an account in Firefox, the system asks me to enter the email registered in profile 1, with the warning that bookmarks, passwords and extensions will be mixed.

I mention that I have migrated from Google Chorme to Firefox for speed reasons and because I use windows 7 (I don't like later versions) Now well; in Google Chrome you could create as many sessions as were registered but in Firefox you can't.

Oh! I have been working fine with Firefox but suddenly an error occurs (it has happened to me 2 times in the last 2 months) in which the program closes and all the data of my profiles stored on the pc DISAPPEARS or is deleted (including cache), when I want to open them again:

firefox.exe -P

Then I have to give myself the task of synchronizing profile 1, but profile 2 I have to be importing from my previous Google account or importing a backup Bookmark.

The option to copy and paste the data from Firefox to replace it in the path (supposedly brings with it the data of everything):

C:\ProgramData\Mozilla-1de4eec8-1241-4177-a864-e594e8d1fb38\updates\308046B0AF4A39CB

with Firefox turned off it has not worked for me. Since when opening I see 2 profiles called Default "X" and Default "Z" without data.

This is a headache that if it happens to me, it happens to millions who have 2 or more profiles.

Why can't I sync a second profile? Why do you insist that there can only be one sync per device? Is there a solution for this?

Note: I have read all the tutorials out there and the situation remains the same. Synchronization with 2 or more profiles is never described.

I installed Firefox at work and set my personal email address as secondary to my business address. Well, I liked Firefox so much that I decided to use it at work and at home - and I removed my personal email from my business account. Unfortunately Firefox is still recognizing my personal email as the secondary address for my business account and I am completely incapable of making a new account. My bookmarks and saved passwords are all different between home and work. I NEED two individual accounts, just like how I was using my browsers with Chrome. t

This has happened twice. All my passwords were removed from the Fire Fox PW Manager. The first time, Google ended up with apparently this PW list created w/FF. I never knowingly gave permission for this. Second time my Primary PW will no longer work and I had entered the PW correctly.

Tried to set up a new PW file on FF, which I had since upgraded, but it will not accept my "last PW".

nearly all page wont load, it just spins. sometimes after a couple of refreshes the page will come up instantly. this happens to 80 percent of pages. I have reset, but didnt help.

Why am I suddenly getting notifications with a tone appearing in the upper right corner of my screen from various entities like supermarkets, NextDoor, etc? This just started happening.

I run Windows 11 on my Laptop. Every few days, Firefox slows down so much that it becomes essentially unusable. If I uninstall and then reinstall, it works fine for a few days, and then it repeats its slow performance. I like Firefox, but if this continues, I will have to switch browswers.

I am in the US. In the list of Search Shortcuts in firefox preferences, amazon is listed and used to be simply amazon.com. At some point it switched itself to amazon.de...Now anytime I go to amazon, I land on the German version. Yes, I use a vpn, but I never personally set the search shortcut to amazon.de. It happened without my permission. And I'd like to edit it back to the US version but there does not seem to be a way to Add the correct version without installing an extension which should be unnecessary. I can remove the wrong version of course, but then how to add the correct version and prevent it from switching without my permission?

Hi.. Last few upgrades, Firefox browser will not keep passwords to bookmark sites. Have to go thru a lot of trouble to sign in to any password sites that is not saved any longer in Fire fox browser.. Tried all kinds of setting in Firefox and disable our virus programs and win 10 items to find a way to save pass words. Google and other browser will save the pass words. When editing - composing a new email in Yahoo mail, the ENTER key is not making a NEW LINE. Resulting, I cannot write multi-line emails. But, when switching to Google Chrome, I have no issues, and ENTER key is working as it should.

I am new to Firefox browser, my IT guy recommended it over Chrome.

My issue is that I use Gmail as my email client, now I am all setup and been working all day, I have found I have to download my customers attachments, I can't drag them from the email to a folder.

I can open Chrome and still drag them from there but not Firefox

Am I missing a setting to tick? or and extension to use?
