I can't add a new page in my Wordpress blog since updating to Firefox 49.0.2

After I sign into my Wordpress blog i select the icon to start a new blog entry. The Wordpress page changes to a blank page with a W in the middle but does not bring up a new editable page with title, etc. Google Chrome still works fine to do this same task and Firefox used to work okay until the last or at least the second last update.
