I would really appreciate any help as I am at my wit's end. Until yesterday I could use Firefox normally on a Windows 10 computer. But since today, all websites have failed to load, and I get a PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR message on the screen. However, other browsers seem to have no problem (I'm writing this using Chrome). I have already tried all the possible solutions listed here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can to no avail. I tried connecting to another network, and it still failed to load any website and kept returning the same error message. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, and the problem remains the same.

I am a huge supporter of the browser and would hate switching to another option, but I do not see what else I can do to solve the problem.

I mainly bookmark pages by clicking and dragging the URL to my bookmarks sidebar as I've always found this to be more convenient. After the last two Firefox updates, this method no longer saves the page title, just the page URL.

In the attached image, the URL and resulting bookmark from dragging it to the sidebar are circled in red. The expected title is circled in orange. An example of an older (correctly titled) bookmark is circled in green. This is not a page specific issue, as it happens on every webpage.

CTRL+D as well as pressing the star icon in the navigation bar still work as expected, bookmarking pages with their correct titles.

I get this error message and then it shuts down if I don't stop it by deleting it....

“Error while installing” :Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0) Fire Fox then shuts down if I don’t delete it.

Since the last update various programs we try to play on ITVX.com hang Firefox. Again tonight we ended up having to switch to chrome which behaves ok. End up having to crash FF from Task Manager.

On Mac OS 13.2.1, if I make a window full screen in one display (my Macbook screen for instance), all other Firefox windows have a grey-ed out yellow button for minimizing and I can't use the shortcut CMD+M as normal. This does not happen if I use full screen windows in multiple "desktops" on one display, but as soon as I split Firefox across two displays and full screen at least one window, all the others can no longer be minimized.

Unlike some older issues, I can still see the close, minimize, and maximize buttons but the middle minimize button is disabled as if every window were set to full screen mode.

Is there any way or any extention which can make a bookmark behave like a pinned tab? so that whenever I am browsing that bookmark is tracked and automatecally updated as I browse?

I set a primary password but I found I can just press cancel button and then go to my gmail and open it without any prompt to enter password first.

If my PC is stolen then any one can press cancel and open my email and other loged in sites

scroll bars cover website-widgets (check boxes) (110.0.1 64-Bit)!! e.g., when trying to activate a checkbox at the right edge (Amazon, marking an item to cancel an order) that is not possible because the firefox scrollbar (right side) covers the Amazon checkbox, so it is impossible to mark it, and so the order cannot be cancelled!

This is an unacceptable malfunction!!

(OTOH, on MSEdge, the scrollbar sits to the right of the checkboxes without ever covering them, so it's obvious that this is specific Firefox malfunction!!!)

My email screen has gone to a larger page that will not fit on the computer screen, whether in full screen or partial, the inbox is pushed off the left side, and the email previews are so large they extend half the way across from the right side. Previously most of the center was for email lists, but now it is just a small part that will only show two or three emails. How can I change it back the the old format?

I am running Firefox 111.0.1 on macOS 13.2.1. After upgrading to 111, Firefox's ability to remember per-site zoom settings seems to have disappeared. Based on my perusal of some previous issues with Firefox zoom levels, I tried changing the `browser.display.os-zoom-behavior` setting in `about:config` from `1` to `0`, but this has no effect. Is there some way to restore per-site zoom level retention? That was a really nice feature that I relied on quite a bit.

Windows11 Firefox 111.0.1 (64 bit) intermittently stops loading page while scrolling. Won't refresh or go back to previous page. No error message. Have to restart Firefox.

Is it FireFox, my NordVPN or PCMATIC that still lets me get thru to my normal websites as well as viewing other websites... OR is something that EPIC (the writers of the MYCHART) for FirstHealth.org and www.firsthealthmychart.org? Can anyone help? This is the ONLY website that will not work for 2 days so far.

I have physical limitations and need to use middle mouse button to scroll.

However, in Firefox, middle mouse button to scroll is interrupted whenever the mouse hovers over a hyperlink or linked object -- and, fun fact, there are A LOT of links on the Internet, so this equates to a very janky and sub-optimum experience, in my personal use-case.

How can I make it so that the middle mouse button functionality is not hijacked by mouse-over context? I've already tried/disabled middle-mouse-button-click-to-open-link-in-new-tab.

You know when you grab a tab, drag it out, and make another window? For some reason it's never worked when dragging to another monitor. When I let go, it doesn't do anything, and the tab stays in the original window.

I am using Norton Password Manager for all my logins. Trying to figure out how this will affect my Firefox account. I just changed the account password to one randomly generated, but haven't logged out yet as I want to make sure I can get back in. Should I logout on all devices & then log back in with new password?

I used to be able to install an extension, and than see it automatically pin itself on my toolbar now I have to select the add ons and theme icon on toolbar and manually pin each extension I install one by one. I do not want to have to keep doing this. Will someone please tell me what is going on and how to revert this back to how it originally was?

I have bought a new computer and want to sync all my passwords and stuff. it is asking for the authentication code to proceed but i don't have it, how can i disable authentication code when it is asking for it to disable. don't know what or how to proceed? please help. -Mike M.
