Since I updated to version 113.0.2 every time I try to open certain websites, Firefox shows an error message "SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER". Once I choose to accept the risk and continue it redirects to the IP address "79.137.248.81" that redirects to spam. This happens on multiple sites, certain popular sites such as google work perfectly.

Yesterday I uninstalled and installed the browser. I rkilled and scanned my system with Malwarebytes, Avast and HitmanPro. I also have no malicious addons I found. Nothing worked.

In the last month Firefox using google search simply refuses to search, this is becoming annoying to the point where I will start using other browsers. Is there a fix for this?

When it happens: - Irregular frequence. The same websites once work once don't. They work with Chrom/Edge/From my mobile(same wifi/router). - Sometimes I have to refresh the page a few times - Happens for all sort of webistes. From local news, to GitHub/Youtube/Google/Any website

Steps I have taken: - Cleared cache/cookies - Reset PC/Firefox - Cleared all extensions - Deleted Firefox (And manually deleted all folders in AppData related to Firefox) and reinstalled afterwards

Nothing helped. Any idea what is going on? I checked Mozilla documentation for SSL issues, but it didn't help either

A month ago I started to have problem with twitch. After 5minutes or 2 hours- random times or random tabs, if I have opened more than 1, which is always the case. Some tabs or all, again it's random will give twitch 2000 error and refresh, closing tab,etc nothing will work, except closing WHOLE browser, not just tabs and this is not guaranteed that it will work.

I'm losing my mind with closing whole browser-windows-tabs on different monitors and then re-opening all of that again when I get 2000 error and I always do get it.

Did like 50 re-installs, it's always the same. I tried to go back to older version, but Firefox always want to create new profile saying I have old version installed and I DO NOT want that, I want everything as it is right customized,etc right now.

Just recently been experiencing the 400 Bad Request error on Kick.com (a live streaming platform) for about a couple hours now. Never had any issues prior.

Was informed that this same issue is happening on other browsers and the only solution is a "quick fix" (clear site cookies) which only works for literally a second. When the page is reloaded the error message pops back up.

The last update 113.0.1 was when I really noticed it being slow. None of the current suggestions have any effect. I have restarted several times, cleared cookies and history, flushed dns and have gone through all settings. Privacy is set at "standard" and not using a VPN and have turned off add blockers with no effect either. I have to check, but I don't think I have any add-ons except for color on home page.

If I do a speed test, ping is kinda slow, download is half what it should be at times, and every test shows ZERO upload all using several sites to test from . The only thing not done is shutting down av which I won't do. Anyone else seeing this issue? Any other suggestions than the go-to stuff here? Windows 10

I saw an other article about the same possible but they had a problem with an extension but I dont have that extension but still have the same problem. Whenever i watch twitch or youtube and i alt tab or switch tabs my audio and video stops playing.

I've been using firefox for last 15 years now to do my online banking with RBC. As of 2 weeks ago it has failed to open online banking on the RBC website. Google chrome however works. When speaking to RBC customer support they say it is a problem with firefox and will likely go away once firefox updates to a newer version.

Hope you can help with this issue since my browser of choice is firefox. Thanks

I was having issues playing videos. All I would get was a black screen, but I could hear the audio. Although some videos, like facebook shorts, played just fine. And I could view videos in other browsers. Tried several things I saw suggested on threads having the same issues, but ultimately I uninstalled firefox and then reinstalled it and it seemed to have fixed the issue. Hopefully this helps others having the same issue. I tried to suggest it on a few of those threads but they were locked.

I got this message today.... 'I then attempted to start Firefox, getting the error, "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."'

I attempted to reinstall Firefox and am still getting this message. How do I fix this?

I am on Windows 10. I just updated my Firefox web browser and it send me an error message: "XUL Runner, Error, Platform Version 113.0.2 not compatible with min version equal or greater or lesser than 113.0.1. IS this a problem and what is the solution?? Bob Krause

Hello, I'm looking for help with these crashes, it happens from twitter to Youtube and Facebook; I've tried with Troubleshoot Mode and still happens, I've erased cookies and didn't work.

For approximately three days now, I can't play any YouTube videos. I just get the spinning icon and suggestion to restart but it never resolves. I have tried a couple things but am currently not all that savvy and just want them to work! They will play fine in Opera, but I hate switching browsers just for that site.

With update 113.0.2 I am seeing 13 processes running using 670mb of memory with no add-ons running and the support tab open. The browser starts crashing with six or seven tabs open.

'Still having scrolling issues on facebook, where scrolling will jump forward, has this been fixed yet or what's happening? this has happened ever since i installed Firefox, on a fresh install or windows 11 Pro, it's very annoying.'
