The check box to "open file automatically" does not work! Whenever I click on a file attached to an email, the popup appears, asking "What should Firefox do with this file?" Open with default is already chosen, and the checkbox is already checked to confirm that I want to do this from now on. Yet, every time I download a file, no matter what type of file it is, the popup box reappears. It's been doing this for years. I recently did a complete reinstall of my entire laptop, but the problem still persists. How can this frustrating problem be solved? Thank you. Jim
