Thunderbird Win7 45.2 not getting folders from IMAP Comcast acct

I am using TB v 45.2.0 on Win7. There are a few POP Aol accounts and an IMAP Aol acct. I just added my work Comcast email acct and let TB auto configure using IMAP. The Aol IMAP acct shows all the folders that show up on AOL webmail. If I added a folder on AOl webmail, the next time I launch TB, the new folder is there. The new Comcast IMAP folder has the same account settings for sync, etc but only the inbox folder shows up with no subfolders. There is also a 'Apple Mail To Do' folder but none others. I went to the 'Manage Folder Subscriptions' for the Comcast work email and all the folders are there but unchecked. Checking the needed folders and clicking 'Subscribe, OK' does not make the folders show up in TB main window. TB did get the complete Inbox root messages but none others.
