Selected item from drop down menu doesn't work when selecting it with mouse button release

Hi,

I'm using Firefox 57 Quantum (nice work, by the way!) in a Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6.

I used to be able to select an item from a drop down menu doing the following: - click on the item to open the drop-down and do not release the mouse button - holding the button down, drag the arrow down to the desired menu item - release the mouse button

This would change the drop down selected item to the one that I had under the mouse pointer when I released the button.

But now it doesn't work like this anymore. I need to click to open, release, drag the mouse, click again to select. This is annoying and slower than before.
