How do I hide the 'Junk' button?

As the subject suggests, how do I hide the 'Junk' button in Thunderbird?

Some 'help' articles have suggested that I simply use the "Customize Toolbar" menu (right-click the toolbar-->Customize...), but that menu won't allow me to drag (remove) the 'Junk' button away from the toolbar (it actually won't allow me to drag any button away from this particular part of the screen).

I am using Thunderbird 78.13.0 - the latest 'stable' release in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS ("Focal Fossa") at the time of writing - installed as a traditional 'Debian' package via APT (the default 'Snap' version doesn't print background colors / images in e-mail messages).

Any help would be appreciated.
