After installing firefox, asked to finish installing with no way to do so

Firefox v98 ipadOS 15.4

I installed Firefox. I have used it for a few months now.

I then attempted to install an extension (Lastpass). I get a notice that I should install firefox. (Hmm. How does that work?) Selecting "Download Firefox..." on the extension page offers a page claiming "Now finish installing Firefox" with no way to move forward with finishing an installation that is installed. :-/

The Apple App Store feels that Firefox is fully installed. I downloaded the XPI file for the extension. I could find no way to execute the file. :-(

What magic is needed to solve this conundrum?
