iPhone desktop Firefox Browser homepage “shortcut” buttons and their “rows” - rearranging, editing, sequence of operation issues!

Why is the program design for editing or initial installation of these crucial elements such a logistical nightmare?

By linking it to “Bookmarks”, it populates the rows with stuff you aren’t interested in - rather than allowing you to select a direct shortcut. A gigantic waste of time.

Then, not having the option of ADDING NEW OR EDITING EXISTING shortcut buttons at the positions of:

• “Button 1, Row 1” (Existing) • “Button 16, Row 4” (Add this option, minimally) • “Button X, Row X” (I realize probably a lot more programming work, but it makes EDITING the shortcuts far easier.

We should be able to “drag and drop” the shortcut buttons!

Finally, I think many like to be able to arrange shortcut buttons by preferred order based on frequency of use. The way it works now pushes everything “down-line” -overriding the button’s position:

Initially:

1234 5678

Add (“N”) New

N123 4567

This eliminates the last shortcut button in this two row example. Add a new row, of course! Until you hit 4 rows and 16 buttons!

Finally - You can accidentally delete a button from a row - but can’t replace it in the same button numeric position, and it seems to allow one to “void” the ability to have a button in that position altogether!

The way it works now gives one more headaches than system performance satisfaction!
