can't log in
Long time ago I had this email let's say email@example.com after some years i delete and made a new one firstname.lastname@example.org. On my PC every time I try to log in it goes like this: I put my email@example.com i put my password and it sends me a code on the same Gmail address... Very simple right? I put my verification code in and it says wrong password for email x@YAHOO.com... WHY DOES IT CHANGE MY EMAIL FROM GMAIL TO YAHOO ? I'M LOSING MY MIND I CAN'T LOG IN ON FRESH WINDOWS INSTALL!!!! I even reinstalled Mozilla, I've cleaned everything there is too be cleaned from the browser and same stupid "feature". Whyyyyyyyy????

If the gmail is correct why is it sending verification to the yahoo email? Firefox doesn't control what gmail and yahoo email does that something on their end they control the login and password.
The verification code is sent to the Gmail address not the Yahoo one.
So if this is the case why don't you use the Google Authenticator if your using a mobile? I think that would be far better then a 2FA. This to me works as that is a very good protection system.
