Phone Number Reformatting in Autofill
Firefox is adding +1 before 7-digit phone numbers. There are two things wrong with this. The + sign is only appropriate for cell phones and some websites will not accept phone numbers with the prefix as valid. When will this be fixed?

What site is this?
CVS for my Covid booster appointment.
No link how would one see if they get what your seeing.
You are missing the point. Firefox should respect what I enter and not reformat it. See the original post and try to answer the question. No link should be required.
Your not answering the question. NO link no help. If no one can verify what your seeing there is no helping coming.
The question was "When will this be fixed?". There is nothing to link to. The problem occurs when editing auto-fill in settings. Firefox reformats phone numbers. This has nothing to do with any website.
Consider this a bug report.
I have this same problem and my phone system chokes on the +1. Unless you are using a very, very old phone system in the US the 1 is no longer used.
