Reinstalled Firefox and got new monitor. Now webpages don't load properly.
I had issues with Firefox and reinstalled it. My monitor was cracked so bought a new monitor. Now web pages don't load properly. If on a message board or looking at emails, lines separating each post or email are missing. This happens throughout the web. separating lines, boxes are missing. It's like 90% of the page loads and then some parts don't. I've tried all the troubleshooting answers from Mozilla. Nothing works. Never had this issue for years of using Firefox. All of a sudden, web pages all look different. It can't be the monitor because the computer tells the monitor what to display. So something must have changed when I reinstalled Firefox. I've added a picture below of how the Ticketmaster page loads. It would always show each individual seat. Now most of the empty seats have disappeared along with the line separating each row. Makes it almost impossible to decipher the webpage. The blue dots are seats still for sale. The empty rows should also have dots representing each and every seat, but now only about 50% of the seats actually display. Anyone have any ideas on what is going wrong? Driving me absolutely crazy. Ruined my ability to surf the web. Every page is missing something. Usually separating lines. Any ideas?

I bookmarked this page. The bookmark box opened up, but its no longer a box. The lines on the outside are gone as well as the lines between text. The pop up box blends into the webpage because the lines have disappeared. Once again, this happens on every web page. Thanks!
Here is my google page. As one can see, there is no dialog box. It's there, but the lines are gone and it just blends into an empty page.
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Settings -> General: Performance
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use recommended performance settings"
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use hardware acceleration when available"
Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting to make changes effective.
You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
Thank you very much for replying cor-el. I spent a lot of time yesterday with your suggestions, some of which I had already tried on the Firefox help page, but nothing seems to work. Such an odd and weird issue. So, I'm throwin' in the towel and just accepting that, it is what it is. I needed to upgrade my computer anyhow, so this just makes it that much easier to pull the trigger and start fresh sometime soon. Thanks again!
I wanted to post the answer in case someone like myself is having future issues. I had bought a new monitor and attached two wires in the back. A digital and analog connection. Turns out, that was the root of the problem. I happened to unplug one of the wires and was using ticketmaster and noticed the page loaded correctly. So thanks for all the help, but turns out it was not a firefox issue but a connection issue with both cables creating havoc with how web pages were displayed. Hope this helps someone!
