Strategies for reducing disk usage (besides compacting)
This is a Gmail IMAP install Right now I cannot compact many larger directories (Inbox, sent, etc) because there is not enough disk space.
I reduced the number if folders that are synchronized and the age that messages are synchronized (via account settings) but this doesn't seem to have effected the install size. Is there a way to force Thunderbird to reconcile the files in a given directory with the synchronization settings?
Any other ways to reduce the thunderbird disk usage?
