Can the personal address book be deleted via more advanced methods?

I have installed an add on which allows contacts and event synchronization with my office 365 account, so the personal address book is not needed and so I wish to hide it from the address book pane for simplicity sake. I see the delete button is greyed out. That sucks. Can this button be otherwised removed via chrome.css or about:config?
