Thunderbird Dark Mode: Colors of Chat Messages are unreadable

When I switch Thunderbird to Dark Mode (Mozilla's Dark theme, v1.2, last update Sep 6, 2021) and receive a Chat Message, the message appears with white text on a light background; being unreadable for me.

Is it possible to update the Dark Mode theme to make the text in the chat more readable?

Light Mode renders the Chat with black text in the red and blue bubbles, that's just fine...

It seems the dedicated text colors for "#Chat p.message" are missing, therefore falling back to :root>canvastext, being white..

Can somebody point me in the direction where I can alter the CSS-files so I can fix this contrast issue?
