Is there a way to left justify (vs centered as it is now) a website in the Firefox window?

I am trying to shift everything to the left side of the window. I don't want to change the layout, look, alignment, etc of the websites themselves, just shift everything left. This will put all the 'extra' space on the right side, allowing chat windows to pop up without obscuring the contents. Thanks in advance for any help.
