Firefox crashes

After updating FireFox to the latest version (7.0.1), FireFox presents a Mozilla Crash Reporter. I have tried updated on both a desktop 32-bit Windows XP and laptop 64-bit Windows 7. On both machines, FireFox crashes upon opening. I am in a LAN corporate environment behind a firewall and I believe my version before the update was FireFox 6, on both machines. I have restarted both machines to no avail and on the Windows 7 machine, I uninstalled firefox and tried re-installing FireFox 7.0.1, also, to no avail.

The two error ID's for both XP and 7 are below: XP: Crash ID: bp-1ecf08d0-a5dd-4006-85dc-1b1082111004 7: Crash ID: bp-a1b5b058-6115-4cfd-af76-507a02111004
