I am an 86 y/o programmer with poor eyesight. I wrote my first program in 1960 and am learning html,javascript,php and sqlite. I frequently want my browser to 'forget' but in 150% enlargement the forget window doesn't fit on my screen and if i scroll down on the page i lose the popup, so i have to back out to windows (10) set my viewing to 100% and do it over. Suggestion: reduce the size of the pop-up and put the 'forget' button on the top. Are all the little icons necessary? I cant change any of them. And is the time frame necessary? i always choose '24 hrs'. IMO you only need a 'really?' pop-up to the forget button push and then wipe it all out. Hi lovely People, I try to setup 2FA on accounts.firefox.com with Authy on Android. In Step 1 the code generated from Authy is accepted.

But then, in step 3, when I try to paste in the just in step 2 provided backup activation code, it tells me it's wrong. Am I stupid? I just copied that key from step 2 ... I tried it many times now. Checked if my clipboard is working as expected, tried to delete the spaces in between... I used FF Standard and FF Developer Edition. My Authy is working elsewhere.

Any help? I searched the Forum, found some relating questions, but they never get answered. No one having the same issue?

Hello! I'm trying to login on the developer hub, and it asks me to set up the 2FA, i follow the instructions, setting up the key that it gives me

After that I do verify the code and it success, but it is stuck on saying "Two-step authentication enabled" and it does not do anything

I try again to press the button, it times me out so I wait 15 minutes, after that it says again it has been enabled, but I does don't do anything else.

If I reload the page I start from 0 with another code, and same behavior.

When using Google authenticator the code is wrong both entering the code and scanning the qr.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

I installed the Mail Link Enhancer add-on. It works, sort-of. The subject line and other fields included after the ? in the mailto address do not get filled in. Looking at the add-on info, the developer is Nick, but there is no contact info in the More Information section of the add-on profile. The add-on hasn't been updated since 2020, so I'm fairly certain that things changed since then and that's why it isn't working, but I'm no expert.

im getting unknown issuer on my thin-clients with a FF ESR 45.9.0. This FF is tied to the OS (Ubuntu 16.04) and the OS is the most recent compatible version for our version of the thin-clients. So yeah its super old and I'm not able to update any of this. There is no security.enterprise_roots.enabled option available. What would be the best way to solve this issue for ~400 clients. Hi, I use the Firefox Developer Edition for Windows Desktop (112.0b4 (64-bit) on daily basis. When I play the Udemy DRM content nothing goes wrong first and the browser loads the page well. But after some time passed I see that Firefox stops to load the page and the tab spinning infinitely. Pressing the realod button doesn't help. The only solution is to restart the browser. I use no-proxy setting. The refreshing of the browser didn't help either. I have configured the following options in the "about:config" but it didn't help as well: network.dns.disableIPv6 : true network.dns.disablePrefetch : true network.http.http3.enabled: false

I'm having problems streaming live video on srf.ch (Swiss public television). The whole tab becomes unusable after streaming for a few minutes. Playback just stops and it's impossible to reload or navigate to a different address using the same tab.

This happens with a clean profile using two different computers with very different hardware. I'm able to reproduce it using Firefox 111 and 112, but not with Firefox 110. It doesn't happen in Chrome.

Unfortunately, I couldn't report it as a web compatibility bug. The person reviewing the issue wasn't able to access the streams due to geoblocking (VPN doesn't help). They asked me to provide additional information such as console logs. But even the console stops working when the problem occurs and there are no error messages before that.

Is there anything else I could try to help diagnosing this issue or is it a lost case?

Some website can't display English content properly (shown as rubbish text as in figure provided), but if I copy those text and paste them else where (for example in a .txt file), they shown as English. I even disabled all of my plugins, but it still has the problem.

It won't have such a problem if I open the same web page via chromium-based browsers.

Just wondering what might be the cause?

Error: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress. If I try again without making any changes, I'm able to log in fine. I've tried playing with the protections settings, but haven't found the magic pill to fix this yet.

Hello, I've noticed a change since the last update and don't understand why?

When opening the bookmarks tab I would get the drop down of a long list of links I have saved. I sometimes bunch them into groups so when looking down the long list, I can see the link I want better when more than one are from the same website.

But my issue is that when I went through the list and found that group of links, I could click onto one to open the page. In the past before the update I could click on the bookmarks drop down again, and still see the same area of links I had just clicked on.

Now when the bookmarks drop down closes it defaults to the top of the list and I need to scan down to find the links I was looking at again. Why? Yes when I closed the browser off and reopened it the bookmarks list would start at the top again. But if left opened I could click on the bookmarks tab and it would open to the same link area I clicked onto last.

Is there a way in settings I can reverse this annoying, unnecessary change.

A word to the Firefox workers that like changing things for no reason. I use Firefox because I like the things your browser has that the others don't. Keep taking the little things away that people like, which you seem to keep doing, then my favourite browser will just become "The same old s#*@" like all the others.

This past week loading of pages has been glitchy - anyone else experiencing this? Never had the problem before. Not experiencing the problem on Vivaldi (which I use as a backup).

I will be to-the-point: Firefox 109.0 has forced the "extensions" icon (a puzzle piece) on my Bookmarks toolbar.

(1) I do not wish for it to appear there (2) I am not given the possibility to remove it from the "Customise toolbar" screen

Please assist.

Yesterday when Firefox 111.0 64 bit was installed, updated the unified extension button shows up and it cannot be made to not appear or hidden. I even tried to about:config and change the extensions.unifiedExtensions.enabled from true to false and restarted Firefox yet the extensions button still appears. On older foxfire versions could get rid of it by doing the above and it worked but this new version 111.0 64bit I cannot get rig of the extensions button icon that appears on the end of the tool bar. Please fix it so I don`t have to see this button in the Firefox toolbar at the end of it. I even had a computer online tech try and he says you have it fixed so it cannot be removed. I see others have complained about not being able to remove the button from the tool bar also..

when trying to print property disclosure from listing where says to view document has private and can not get changed to public therefore will not print property disclosure etc

Firefox for Android has issue while playing media in backgroun, Xperia devices. Using the nightly also, and nothing is changing for the best in the latest upgrades, and this is quite an issue. So, there is so much sound clipping while listening to any kind of Youtube content and it's really annoying. It interacts badly with any stock or third party equalizer or virtualizer (360 sound of Xperia). Xperia 1IV user. Please help! Thank you!

YouTube videos on Firefox Android Stable, Beta, and Nighty, experience significant frame drops when viewing "Stats" both on AVC1 and VP9, and on all resolutions. I checked about:config in both Beta and Nightly and HW acceleration was enabled. This was true for a FRESH install as well. I tried this on other devices and the problem persists. Mull, which is a fork of Fennec, plays the same videos without any problems. Other browsers are also fine.

Tested on Samsung S20 One UI 5.1 (Android 13). Tested on Samsung A13 One UI 5.0 (Android 13). Tested Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact (Android 10). Tested on Sony Xperia XZ1 (Android 9).
