Just updated Firefox to version 112.2 on my iPad which has iOS 15 Did the update via the apple App Store. Relaunched (restarted) Firefox and ALL tabs that were open are Gone! I can’t find the “restore previous session” option anywhere.

Can you tell me where to find it? How do I get the previous session back?!?

I’ve been using Firefox for years. Firefox not starting up after the update with all the previous tabs open is devastating to me. I need to get the previous session restored. Please help

I’m trying to get away from Google I just want to install the focus browser import. Some of my tabs add some search engines Fix my passwords get the freeway from safari and google assholes Someone automate this for me? It’s taking me two months to get free from the Google password circle. Keychain, bullshit and Apple I just wanna streamline my life got coding, blogging, and not getting censored.

I added a search engine. I had the right %s URL string. When I added it, Firefox Focus said "make sure you replace the search string with %s". That made me think it was checking the URL, so I added https:// in front, BUT I accidentally removed the first letter of the URL. It let me add it, but then searches didn't work. It letting me use the typo implies it doesn't check the URL.

A novice user may not realize that the error really means "add https://" not the catch-all "check your %s". Not sure where to report bugs, so I'm adding it here.

The workflow to fix my typo could also be improved upon. It's dark-pattern adjacent to have to go in to search settings, change the default to another engine (assuming there is one), get kicked back to main settings, then have to go back to search engines, remove the one you added, then add it again. Could be fixed by having Focus actually try the URL when adding one. I think adding offline would be a very infrequent use case, but you could make it prompt "Hey, I can't load this URL are you sure you want to add it?"

Hi, I have an account with https://www.theguardian.com . On iOS 16.4.1 with the latest Firefox Focus as of today 25 April 2023 (112.0) I kept getting sign-in failures because of Google Captcha issues. Initially I thought it was an issue with Google or the Guardian but this was lasting for many days. I could sign in fine using Safari on Mac Venture 13.3.1 . So I finally had the idea of disabling the content blocker - Firefox Focus, and then the Guardian's sign in page with the Google captcha worked fine and I was allowed to sign in on Safari, plus the iOS app The Guardian as it is using Safari for signing-in. Please fix this. Thank you

I have an iPad pro 11” (3rd gen) running 16.4.1 with an apple magic keyboard attached. When the search history is cleared, and when I tap into the search bar the cursor disappears. It's like the search bar obtains Focus then immediately does a Blur event. When I'm browsing any URL and I tap the search bar, all of the text in the search bar becomes selected, then immediately it looses Focus. For me to use this app I have to detach my apple magic keyboard so that I can use the onscreen keyboard.

Hello, The app entry field is fine on iPad Pro 12.9" until it is put on the Apple keyboard. It has always worked fine but currently the entry field does not bring up the keyboard when the app is selected, whether the entry field is touched or not. I always use Focus instead of DuckDuckGo for this reason - on DDG the entry field must be initiated manually. I tried reinstalling the app. The problem could be with the Apple keyboard.

As the title says, the navigation bar (the one with the back, forward, trash and hamburger menu button) in Firefox Focus (I’m on iOS 16.1.1, iPhone XS) sometimes covers a part of the view, which is most noticeable when getting these cookie notifications at the bottom of websites. From my testing, it happens when entering the website from a link, and not when entering the URL directly into the address bar, and it fixes itself if you manage to scroll a little.

Especially for some sites, such as the Washington Post, when attempting to clear Focus by tapping the trash can, Focus freezes, then (both) the iPad or iPhone go black with a small spinning circle, rebooting to iPad's/iPhone's entry screen. This started happening recently, in early 2023, after updating iOS. Very very very (did I say "very"?) annoying. If this is not a current Focus bug report, it should be.

Since today, tapping and holding a link would use the same preview method as Safari, where it would show you a preview box that could show either a preview of the website or just the URL, switched by tapping the top right of the box. Now it uses its own preview mechanism and there is no option to show only the URL and nothing else. Could you please add such an option on the box? Thank you in advance.
