I've got a problem with add-ons while using Squid MITM Proxy with a custom certificate for Firefox/LibreWolf.

While I'm trying to update / install an extension / theme, it fails with:

How can I install an add-on while using the MITM proxy?

Usually when I start my browser for the first time, I have the Firefox homepage only. For two weeks ago, suddenly an extra tab show up when starting: A page with a commercial for installing "Avast Online Security & Privacy (Add to Firefox-button)".

I use Avast, but I don't want this add-on. And I certainly don't want that extra tab every time I start my pc.

I have three times searched for a solution all over in the Mozilla & Avast settings and on the net: I should go to "Add-ons and themes" - "Extensions" - and on the list "Manage Your Extensions" I should remove this add-on - but it's not there of course, because I didn't install it.

So how do I remove this tab from showing at start-up? (Google Search can't help) Appauling that someone put this tab on my pc in the first place. Both Avast and Mozilla have other ways to communicate with me about that add-on, if needed. Now I had to shut it down every day for two weeks, because I was way too busy to write you until now.

I can't change the language my websites are being displayed in. I changed every setting to english but websites like instagram and youtube are still showing in croatian (because I live in Croatia). I will attach a couple of pictures to prove it.

Can anyone finally explain to me how can I get rid of the most annoying Google pop up screen in my Mozilla browser? I am unable to find a straight answer, everyone is suggesting some sort of plugin that blocks popups but it didn't work for me.

We have released a browser add-on that works with apps using NativeMessaging, but it stopped working after updating Firefox to v114 on Windows 10 (64bit). We have confirmed that it works up to v113.0.1. The browser add-on manifest is v2. In the Mac version using the same browser add-on, the application can be linked even after updating to v114. The behavior of the bug on Windows is similar to the behavior when NativeMessagingHosts is not written in the registry. Is there any information about solutions to problems or causes?

When I double click to any event/task it shows a pop-up window with the event/task information, but this window is way too small and I need to resize every time, how can I change the default size?

Extra info: I'm using Ubuntu 22.04 and Thunderbird have a clean and updated installation without any add-on or extension.

(After the hacker attack we had to restore the encrypted mail from an older backup) The IMAP profile has been restored from backup, msgFilterRules.dat set as before backup, but incoming mail subject to filters remains in INBOX. But when manually running any filter, it moves particular message to the target folder. I've searched dozen of messages at support.mozilla.org for relevant topics, but my problem is not described.

The pattern of the rule that does not work: name="[rule name]" enabled="yes" type="17" action="Move to folder" actionValue="imap://account.name@mail.domain.cz/INBOX/existing destination folder" condition="AND (all addresses,contains,name@domain.cz) AND (all addresses,doesn't contain,my.name)"

I have been trying and searching but I could not find a suitable answer. Figured I try asking the question here.

Is there anyway or what is the policy that I can configure to disable the "New Tab Ctrl+T" function on the menu please? Attached image.

There is no 'delete' button choice in the customize menu bar options in the beta 114.0b6 (64-bit). Is there some other way to add that button to the bar or will that be added in future updates?

Up until I upgraded to the beta circuit today, I was using TB V102.<something>

I use a third-party desktop configuration program called WindowBlinds to set system colors and themes; it has always been able to set colors in Thunderbird with no issue... until I installed this beta version... Now, I simply get black text on bright white background, regardless of WindowBlinds theme.

So I tried falling back on using Thunderbird settings... in Settings-> General -> Fonts & Colors, I have tried all combinations that I could think of, but *none* of them affect the Local Folders Folders and Messages display colors.

Specifically, I have: > Enabled "Allow messages to use other fonts" > Under Colors window, have both set and cleared "Use system colors" If I SET "Use system colors", then all of the Settings tabs use the WindowBlinds colors, but neither Local Folders nor Calendar use them. If I CLEAR "Use system colors", then all of the Settings tabs use the fgnd/bgnd colors that I specify in the Colors dialog.

I *really* want *all* of the windows to use my system colors, which were set by WindowBlinds... that's how it all worked before... that bright-white background on the message panes is Ghastly!!! I cannot bear to look at it...

Video download helper is installed but icon is missing from toolbar and cannot be found where I'm told to look when I google the problem (i.e., view/toolbars/customize). Nor can I drag it to the toolbar from where I find it when I look under triple bar/addons and themes in the upper right corner of the toolbar. Where else should I look to find it?

I make themes for themes for firefox using firefox colors extension. I want to know how to change the text colour, background colour, etc of right click menus ( see image attached.
