All of a sudden Thuderbird is unable to find one of my email servers. One day it worked. The next day it stopped receiving emails. So I deleted the account and tried to add it again, but now Thunderbird can't find it.

The settings didn't change and the email account continues to work without trouble with Bluemail on my Android phone. There is no problem with the other email account on Thunderbird, which is through a different provider.

The settings are entered correctly as described by mail.com and as seen in attached screenshot. Email address entered correctly. Password entered correctly.

Please help.

New domain just set up, added one email address with no problem, unable to add 2nd email from same domain, error message Incoming server already exists. Help please, quite urgent to get this working.

I did search for this a few times on here, only found 1 post where someone had a similar issue, but it was not solved.

I have a 12 Pro Max running iOS 16.3.1 running Firefox 111.1 (29556), and since well before that version (about a month now), I have had a persistant issue where "Night Mode" (that is, for webpages) is ALWAYS toggled on.

Dark mode (that is, my iPhone uses darker colors instead of white) is enabled on my phone, and settings do say to follow the Dark mode setting on my phone, but up until a month ago it would only do that for themeatic styling of the browser (tab bar, menus, etc) and not force night mode on every page. On pages that already use a dark styling, it is creating a horrible white inverted mess.

I can toggle night mode off, but as soon as the tab is closed, it will revert to rendering a page in night mode by default.

Is this just me? I have searched around forums and found I seem to be the only one with the issue. I've since switched to Chrome on my phone, but I love FF, it's my main driver on desktops. I'm not having this issue on my iPad Pro (also using iOS dark mode), which makes me think something with the phone settings is getting weird.

IT Glue has a button to copy details to clipboard and when I do a paste I get [object promise]

I am experiencing an issue with the Firefox browser when opening an HTML file, and I would like to know the cause and possible solutions. I have included the sample code in the troubleshooting section.

Issue details:

1. I have written a date input field in HTML. 2. I have set the onclick event to change the input type to "date" and the onblur event to change it back to "text". 3. When I click the input field, the calendar appears, but when I select a date, the date is not entered into the input field. I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue. Microsoft messed up the latest Firefox update. I had to re-install Firefox from the app store on Win11. I thought id would be a simple task of logging into my account. But all my setting appear to have been lost; home tabs, bookmarks, add-ons, etc. I have tried to sync from the settings menu and no different. The previous firefox install is still on the laptop but does not start.

Any ideas? I have searched everywhere I can think of and an hour later coming here. The bookmarks still appear on my phone at present.

Is there a way to completely remove the bookmark editor? I have it configured to not show when adding a bookmark and would like to not see it when removing it. The button in the addres bar should toggle between add/remove with no ui.

How can I fix or delete this erroneous post or may it be edited?

I can create a help page if it means anything to replace this technically and procedurally incorrect and misleading post. I saw it right away but for a newbie to firefox it could send them away screaming in frustration. A help webpage to address this question would be helpful and I can create one if needed. Or did I miss it?

So i have been using firefox on pc for a while now peacefully, i would usually be able to download videos from dailymotion via videodownloader pro ext without any prompts for “save as” for videos, it would automatically add the videos to the downloader and start download.

Sadly those good days have ended as i accidentally deleted the extension via the troubleshoot> restart options.

On a fresh firefox, I redownloaded the videodownloader pro, unchecked the “always ask” for the downloads in the setting, and tried to download a video. it popped up the save as prompt, i tested a winrar download to see if it was on the extensions side, it was able to download without the prompts. I then checked the settings for the extension itself in which did not have anything for downloads. I next tried a different downloader, video downloader professional ext, that also had same result as the previous extension.

Anyone have this problem and have fix? In the meanwhile downloading shows is going to be one extra click of pain for me.

I'm trying to develop a mtls based login, currently on macos. I have a certificate chain with 3 certificates (CA->intermediate->leaf).

Firefox prompts to select a certificate, but only the leaf is sent to the server. However when I try it on Safari all 3 are sent.

It tried both non-trusted ca and trusted ca, but I can't get it to work.

Is it something in the certificate definition? Maybe a flag I need to toggle in FF?

Having some issues getting the Amazon.com website to load correctly - seeing lots of blue underlined words and most images won't show up at all. Already tried all the usual steps - clearing cookies, cache and logins. Also rebooted - problem persists. Other browsers (Chrome or Edge) do not seem to have the same issue. Is this a known glitch and/or is there something I can do on my end to fix it?

Using TB 102.9.0 (64-bit) on Windows 10 and Proton Mail Bridge 3.0.20 I am no longer able to send emails. I keep getting the following "Send Message Error - Sending of the message failed. The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed. The configuration related to 127.0.0.1 must be corrected."

I installed Firefox on a new laptop this morning. When I signed in, Firefox somehow found a very old, like SEVERAL YEARS old, setting of bookmarks, toolbar settings, passwords, etc. and then synced the new device to that old information. Then when I opened Firefox in my other devices, Firefox automatically synced (with the new laptop, apparently) and replaced all my current saved information with all that old information.

I'm crushed. I'm missing several years' worth of bookmarks and other information I'd saved in my Firefox. Is there a way to reclaim the Firefox information I had on my devices prior to signing in on the new laptop?

After FTP upload, jpg images are displayed rotated in FireFox-Browser (111.0.1 - 32-Bit). In IE looks OK. The website is built with dreamweaver 8.0. What can I do?
