I need to search a site that I saw on my Ipad, I dont search much on my Ipad so I know that I will find it there, cant remember the name but I know is there. The problem is that Firefox Sync puts everything together, Phone, Desktop and iPad. Any idea on how to see the History per Device?

Hello,
Is there a way to remove specific websites from history on mobile phone? While searching with catchphrase "x" to remove specific position from history doesn't show up.
Clearing everything isn't helpful while scrolling down to just find some position from x-time ago is too time consuming.
I believe both Chrome and Opera mobile have those options.
Cheers

I had many tabs open in firefox on my iphone, which were unique and not open in firefox on my laptop. Inhad kept them there for a while because theyvwere important. I happened to tap on 'pick up tab' from my laptop in order to work on something from my phone for the forst time. This looks like a new feature that I didnt notice before. It opened that tab but immediately closed all of those tabs I had kept opened. It also deleted and overwrote all of my iphone history, so that everything exactly matches my laptop. If I go in my iphone's firefox history it does not show those old tabs under recently closed tabs! I can't find those anywhere. Help! Had I known it would do this I would have made sure to save the tabs and history somehow! How can I get my iphone tabs and history back?? Thank you

Today I accidentally find out that all my tabs in my ios browser are gone by unknown reason. Yesterday I've delete my history data but I did it many times before and all the tabs was at their place(tumbler to erase all tabs is inactive all the time). When I get into History section Recently Closed tabs was inactive(grey). Then I moved to desktop browser and face that it sees bookmarks on my iphone(all of them).
How it's possible? And how to restore them?
Best regards
Artem

I'm on version 112.2.0 and I cannot disable the "feature" that haphazardly shoves my history in to groups that have nothing to do with each other but Firefox THINKS are related. The support post I've found discussing this promised there'd be a "disable search groups" option in version 97, but I'm on version 112.2.0, which (for those of you counting) is 5 mainline iterations afterwards. How do I fix this? It's constantly breaking my History.
How can I retrieve more than 10 tabs in my history? I would like to retrieve my tabs at least for the past week which I believe were about 80 tabs.

I bookmarked an article I was reading on incognito. I read it about 1-3 time, in incognito, before deciding I didn’t need it anymore. I deleted it and a few days later was typing something along the lines of the article in the non-incognito browsing and the title up. I typed it into my history and it came up. I deleted it from my history yet it keeps showing up. I have deleted it multiple times and have deleted my history twice.

Hello, I'm trying to export/import my browsing history on mobile from standard to beta Firefox. I frequent a few sites that list similarly named links, and I'd rather not continuously switch back and forth between the two apps to know which ones I've already visited. I'm hoping there is something to be done here, as sync doesn't import/export the link visitation data. In my researching, the only method I've found is rooting my tablet, and I personally would rather not have to wipe the device clean for the convenience of not having to switch firefox apps.(It would also defeat the purpose as that'd wipe the data I'm trying to transfer.)
Hi,
I would like to report a bug that I found in private mode in Firefox mobile (iOS). So we do that on GitHub?
Thanks

Hey,
I'm looking to delete site data without deleting my history. In the app under "Delete browsing data", the only way to delete site data is through "Browsing history and site data".
There must be a way to do this? It's easy to do on desktop. Deleting site data while keeping local history seems like a basic thing to ask, I don't understand why they are linked?
Would appreciate any help, I am otherwise really enjoying both the desktop and mobile browsers. However this is a very essential feature to me as I am looking for a privacy-oriented browser which I thought Firefox is supposed to be, though this seems like a very basic privacy feature that is just missing or hidden?
Thanks

I have used Firefox for iOS on my iPad for years. Daily or At least every other day I delete the history by using history, trash can, then choosing everything huingy. One day it didn't work. There were last week entries, which I don't normally see. I painstakingly manually deleted them. They all came back. I checked fir an update and saw that it had updated the previous day to 110.2 As if today 03/13/23 I still can't clear my history. At one point Today and yesterday disappeared. Then Inclosed, reopened history and everything once again reappeared!
Please help. I have emptied the iPad's cache it doesn't help. I have off loaded the FF app, and pulled it back , nothing helps.
Thanks for any advice. LJ

I'm constantly annoyed by the history tab on my phone. When I visit several Wikipedia pages one after the other for example, they're grouped together in a folder that's named after whatever first search query I made. I don't see any way to turn this off.
Additionally, I'd also like to be able to delete forwarding pages from my history from my phone. I do this on my PC which I have synced by entering "." into the history search bar and manually deleting them but otherwise I'm stuck using the search function on my phone even for pages I visited recently, which is often full of forwarding pages I haven't gotten around to deleting yet.

That and the behaivor of grouping similar results makes the history manager on Firefox Android AWFUL. At least on PC you can sort by last visited, it's just that it scrolls you back to the top of list after you click on a result that was down the list. I don't know what's worse to be honest. Mozilla really needs to fix their **** as this is part of the reason they have an the overall userbase is in the single digit percentages.
