I have followed the directions to change settings for pop-up blocker but when I go to the permissions section of Privacy&Security there is no BLOCK POP-UP WINDOWS with a checked box next to it. So I cannot make exceptions.

I have Firefox for Android on my Samsung tablet version 111. I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Is there a way to allow popups as a whole or from specific sites? Some support chats open in a separate window as a popup and I cannot view them. I have to use a different browser in that situation and I would rather stick to Firefox

Where do I go in settings in order to make Firefox my default app. I went into apps and found Firefox and clicked on it and made it my browser and now it's saying I don't have internet.

In the past few weeks i cannot sign in to my accounts with different vendors like Amazon. A pop up window appears when I click on "Sign In" and the window states, and I quote: "Open in another app

                                                                                                         Would you like to leave Firefox to view this content?"
                                                                                                          Cancel                     Open 

If I click on Cancel it will let me enter the email or phone number in the site pop up box. But, once entered and pressing the continue box, which would normally take you to the password box, it brings up the same window as above. Then it does not matter whether i click on Cancel or Open, it will not give me a password box and will not take me to the site. It presents a page that states We're sorry, The web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site. So, I cannot call any Firefox Tech person and get this straightened out. Also today, the website icons I have saved to my home page were greyed out today. I went to Verizon and they determined it was an issue with Firefox since that is how I accessed those sites and used that search engine to save them to the home screen. I decided to reload those one at a time and then erase the greyed out icons. When I got the 3rd one done the other 29 became live again. Not sure what is at issue here but i do need assistance. I tried for weeks to add a website and a serer 192.168..... on "exceptions" list on my android firefox browser.

My exceptions list remains empty.

I have several open tabs, but I'm using one. I move away from FF on the iPad (via the "App-Switcher" or Alt-tab) When I restore the iPad's focus to FF, it opens a new blank tab. If there's already a blank new tab it goes there (it only opens one "home tab" but keeps favoring it over other open tabs.) I want FF to switch back to the tab and location within that tab that last had focus in FF, in other words, what I was reading right before I switched.

I am not logged in to Firefox or any Mozilla account. (I only log in to accounts when it's absolutely necessary.)

I don't care about syncing or reopening tabs that I have closed. (Seems like new, added features overwrote more basic and simple usage, i.e. MY use case.) Every day I close all my tabs from the previous day and start over. Documentation just talks about complicated new features.

I'm trying to disable my history from grouping related terms together, but there isn't an option under the Tabs setting for the version I have. I cannot update Firefox through Google Play so I'm pretty sure I have the latest version (10.0.1). Is there a fix for this?

I have several tabs open. In the first tab I open link to new tab, and this tab open right after the tab I open new tab from. How can I set opening links to open as last tab?

Here see settings in Vivaldi. I was using Firefox 68 until now. Link were opening to the last tab. How to set it in "new" Firefox?

Let's say I'm trying to make a payment on a page. If I leave the page to get my credit card information from another app, I can't return directly to the page I was just on, it just returns me to my home page, and then I have to go to my tabs and re-select the page I was on before.

I am sick and tired of Microsoft and their statements like, "Windows 7 is no longer supported". Now Google has joined them with same thing. I do NOT see Firefox doing the same thing. Probably because they are NOT tied to the functionality that Microsoft provides. This paradigm has gone on long enough. What can I do to promote Firefox as the premier Browser for all platforms. For example, instead of syncing my contacts and required to use Google on Android devices. How can we get to the point of being able to use Firefox and ditch Google when I buy an Android phone?

I don't want to blow off my bookmarks and other settings, but the system to install firefox app on new samsuung phone is reading "working" when I enter p/w and user, but it ain't allowing it to finish. I went onto the mozilla site and checked my firefox saved bookmarks but the moz. will only show me the dots for my p/w and they are WAY more than what I remember!!!!

  I have icloud so all the macs will show the same p/ws, and there's a big fat Mozilla warning telling me if I want to reset my p/w I will lose bookmarks, settings, etc.
  What is a workaround, so I can actually see my own p/w, or at least change the one Mozilla firefox thinks is the correct one (but isn't!!!)?
   I also have a VPN, which screws up the take a pic of the computer screen to set up computer.  I will go to another computer w.o it and try again, but this is truly overkill (it should have a way to show me my old p/w OR reset w.o killing my bookmarks, settings...)....right?!?!?!!?!

Whenever I want to open a link in an app the browser asks me to accept or cancel. Great but how do I and is there a way to make it automatically open apps? This is only on iOS

Currently using Firefox Nightly version 111.0a1 for Android now when trying to open a link in another app it always shows a popup to confirm.

This was not present in previous releases and I don't know if there is a way to prevent this popup as it makes it uncomfortable. Is there an option I may be missing to disable this feature? If not, could an option like this be introduced?

I cannot figure out how to get Firefox to browse to my local website IMPI server maintenance website on my LAN which uses http protocol. I've tried Firefox troubleshoot mode and also setting the https redirect off - which has zero effect. Any ideas would be welcome because I'm locked out of my server IMPI now.

I recall Firefox having an option of not to search yet to go directly to site I wish to click this option yet I cannot find it. Either you have removed it from the options or you have hidden it where someone that has been using the app for years cannot find it hence why I do not like updates

There needs to be an option to close all open tabs when the mobile browser app is closed. It's nonsensical to have tabs reopen when app is restarted. Memory on a phone is precious and shouldn't be consumed in this manner.

When I search up something for example batman I get it in my native language even though I prefer English and have set my language to English Tell me how to prevent that

As the subject suggests, I’m trying to figure out how I can recover about 180 tabs I lost while the inactive tabs setting was enabled. I don’t remember Firefox crashing - I just noticed a few days ago that all my inactive tabs were gone and have since been trying to find a way to recover them, with no success.

Which is why I’m here. Is there a way to access Firefox’s iOS files? From my research, I’m thinking it’s possible info on tabs might still be stored somewhere in those files.

Images are inverted too. It’s been like this for months. I was hoping it would be fixed in an update, but no luck. I can’t be the only one having this issue. Latest IOS, iPad M1.
