After upgrading my calendar color coding changed. It now displays the color of the calendar in each event and a thin strip of color for the type of event (busy, follow up, etc). Please see the before and after image in the "add images" section (file: calendarChange.png). I want to go back to the original display but cannot find a setting.

Can anyone help? Thanks

Controlling where caldav invites are sent from

I have 3 email accounts usr1@coy1, usr1@coy2, usr2@coy2 (2 different organisations)

I have 2 caldav calenders (Calender1 for usr1@coy1, and Calender2 or usr2@coy2)

I have set the prefer client-side email scheduling option, and a relevant email address in each Calenders settings. IN Calender 2 this is usr2@coy2

Whenever I create an event in either calender the organiser defaults to usr1@coy1

In Calendar 2 I can manually change that to say usr1@coy2 then when the invite is sent it says usr1@coy2 has inivted you to ..., but the email is sent from usr1@coy1. (this is confusing because someone would not expect an invite from a different organisation), and the email address I set with the prefer client-side email scheduling option in Calender properties (ie usr2@coy2 in this case) is not mentioned.

However when the invitee replies the response goes correctly to usr1@coy2

How can I change the email address that usr2@coy2's invites are sent from to avoid confusion.?

If I can only have one email address to actually send invites from within thunderbird, then I would like to change it to usr2@coy2

usr1@coy1 is probably the first account that I added when I set up Thunderbird

Thanks

Tim

If I add a calendar entry and specify "No reminder", it sets a reminder anyway. I can edit it afterwards, but it surely should work without needing to do that. Is this an intentional feature?

I am using Thunderbird 102.5.0 and my email from ATT/Yahoo is showing up in TB with no problem. I didn't set TB up at first to include the calendar, but I have now added it. To do that, I followed all of the instructions here to Create New Calendar (On the Network), and in the 'Create New Calendar' dialog box where username and location were to be supplied, I put my email address as the 'username' and I put the ICS shareable link that ATT/Yahoo provided as the 'location'. The ATT/Yahoo calendar was discovered and Thunderbird now has this calendar listed in the left-most panel. I have it set to refresh every minute. Sometimes there is an 'enable' icon that appears beside the calendar name and when that appears I click on it to enable it. But the calendar itself (exported from ATT/Yahoo and imported to Thunderbird) shows no events that are in the ATT/Yahoo calendar. It's empty. So, apparently, even though Thunderbird as made the connection via the shareable link, it doesn't know how to 'read' the ICS ATT/Yahoo calendar so that the events show up in the TB calendar.

I need some advice on how to get the ATT/Yahoo calendar events to show up in the TB calendar.
