Currently using Firefox Nightly version 111.0a1 for Android now when trying to open a link in another app it always shows a popup to confirm.

This was not present in previous releases and I don't know if there is a way to prevent this popup as it makes it uncomfortable. Is there an option I may be missing to disable this feature? If not, could an option like this be introduced?

How can I resolve the issue of my website not displaying properly on Mozilla Firefox browser, specifically with regards to the layout and formatting? Are there any specific CSS or HTML codes that need to be modified to ensure compatibility with Firefox, and are there any known compatibility issues between Firefox and certain web development frameworks or libraries that I should be aware of?

On my Android 12 Motorola phone watching YouTube on Firefox for Android, I am seeing captions/subtitles both on the YouTube screen and separate from the YouTube screen overlaying the page. I do not have a caption add-on. I can turn the YouTube screen captions on and off using YouTube Payback Settings, but I cannot see how or where to turn off the captions overlaying (see screenshot) the YouTube web page/Firefox for Android app. Any help would be appreciated.

I recently started using Firefox on both desktop (Windows PC) and mobile device (iPhone). I rely on my bookmark organization a lot. One thing I noticed is that there's discrepancy in name of "Other Bookmarks" (called "Unsorted Bookmarks" on iPhone) folder placed on desktop Bookmarks Bar (I only use Bookmarks bar and this folder for all my bookmarks).

Is it safe to assume this is merely a temporary and cosmetic discrepancy and this folder will be renamed to "Other Bookmarks" on iPhone too? Or does it have some special properties? Last thing I want is Firefox unsorting my carefully sorted bookmarks...

I'd really like keep one set of synced bookmarks between all my devices and accessible completely from Bookmarks bar on desktop. Is this OK thing to do?

On my iPad I switch back and forth between Firefox and other apps quite often (using the "App Switcher" or some older method.) But every time I return to Firefox it opens a new tab. I want it to return to the tab I last had focus on, i.e. the tab that I was last looking at and interacting with. This is new behavior over the last few months. Is there a setting that can disable this "feature"?

I installed the "Google" app and the "Firefox" app. When I used the "Google" app to search for images, I found that I couldn't open the searched websites. I tried to use the Samsung browser or Chrome browser and did not have this problem. I have followed the directions to change settings for pop-up blocker but when I go to the permissions section of Privacy&Security there is no BLOCK POP-UP WINDOWS with a checked box next to it. So I cannot make exceptions.

I have Firefox for Android on my Samsung tablet version 111. I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Is there a way to allow popups as a whole or from specific sites? Some support chats open in a separate window as a popup and I cannot view them. I have to use a different browser in that situation and I would rather stick to Firefox

In the recent update, there is a new feature which allowed people to view pdf directly in the browser rather than downloading it. Ever since this was implemented, I am not able to download any pdf, instead it keeps opening up the pdf in another tab which is not what I'm trying to do. Is there a way to fix this?

i like firefox and like to use it. BUT when i hit share, it wont let me share on messages. i have to go to chrome. when on mdvip, it wont let me select doctor recipient. have to go to chrome. small problems but i am just using chrome more and more.

If I bring up Firefox on iOS it creates a second tab with my Home page in it. Why does it do that? When I have a single tab and I navigate to some arbitrary site and then temporarily switch applications I don't expect, when I return to Firefox, that - pop! - here's another tab with you Home page on it! This should not happen. I am getting really tired of deleting second tabs. Please fix.

I followed the instructions here:https://blog.mozilla.org/netpolicy/2021/10/28/implementing-global-privacy-control/ to update my firefox browser settings as instructed and set the settings to true, restarted firefox & checked on a GPS tracking website checker to see if the settings were working correctly and despite this the GPS tracking still shows as off?

When I minimize Firefox and then maximize it launches another window. Why does it add a new tab? I want it to stay on the last tab I was at, but instead I need to go back to the all tabs view and close out the new unwanted window.

Where do I go in settings in order to make Firefox my default app. I went into apps and found Firefox and clicked on it and made it my browser and now it's saying I don't have internet.

In the past few weeks i cannot sign in to my accounts with different vendors like Amazon. A pop up window appears when I click on "Sign In" and the window states, and I quote: "Open in another app

                                                                                                         Would you like to leave Firefox to view this content?"
                                                                                                          Cancel                     Open 

If I click on Cancel it will let me enter the email or phone number in the site pop up box. But, once entered and pressing the continue box, which would normally take you to the password box, it brings up the same window as above. Then it does not matter whether i click on Cancel or Open, it will not give me a password box and will not take me to the site. It presents a page that states We're sorry, The web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site. So, I cannot call any Firefox Tech person and get this straightened out. Also today, the website icons I have saved to my home page were greyed out today. I went to Verizon and they determined it was an issue with Firefox since that is how I accessed those sites and used that search engine to save them to the home screen. I decided to reload those one at a time and then erase the greyed out icons. When I got the 3rd one done the other 29 became live again. Not sure what is at issue here but i do need assistance.
