I hope this is the right place to post about this issue.

Just installed Thunderbird Beta 112.0b3 (64-bit) a couple of days ago, getting the feel of this one and doing OK, but found an issue.

Buttons (screenshot supplied) are not working (not taking me anywhere) except for the calendar one, which works OK

Any feedback or instructions to correct this would be appreciated.

On Mac OS 13.2.1, if I make a window full screen in one display (my Macbook screen for instance), all other Firefox windows have a grey-ed out yellow button for minimizing and I can't use the shortcut CMD+M as normal. This does not happen if I use full screen windows in multiple "desktops" on one display, but as soon as I split Firefox across two displays and full screen at least one window, all the others can no longer be minimized.

Unlike some older issues, I can still see the close, minimize, and maximize buttons but the middle minimize button is disabled as if every window were set to full screen mode.

I have struggled all day today to get into my T'bird email account linked to gmail which has been working fine previously.

T Bird keeps asking for my master password. I don't know that information. To clear/reset he password requires that one knows the current password. I am also told to paset'chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xul' into the error console but this has no reaction.

How do I definitively eliminate my master password without knowing my current master password?

When I CANCEL the entering of a password in T'bird, Google pops up and send me a nice 6 digit code that also results nothing happening.

Please help, I do not want to waste another day on this. Thanks.

How can I import my intact profile that TB lost if the import dialog doesn't show the hidden /home/linux/.thunderbird folder ? My Nemo is set to & shows it, but I see no way to make that happen in TB running on Linux Mint 20.3 to do the import. Am I missing something ?

I get my emails on both mobile and laptop. But if I delete on one it doesn't delete on the other (I have to delete same emails on devices separately). What setting have I got wrong? Paul

Process failed when I try to log in into my Samsung account in my phone. I also get redirected or I can't contact any support on my phone Samsung, text now. And apps are downloaded on my phone Spectrum Mobile apps but I can't access them. I get offline notices frequently

I have successfully used thunderbird for years, but cannot add my gmail account. I read the google and TB docs. I have tried this several times. I must be doing something wrong, but not clear to me…

First, I did gmail steps:

1) log into gmail using gmail.com email address and gmail password 2) click on Setting “gear” in upper right 3) click on “see all settings” 4) click on “forwarding and pop/imap” tab 5) verify that “enable imap” is checked. Says “status: imap is enabled”

Then, I did thunderbird steps:

6) clear error log. click File / New / Existing Mail Account 7) enter 3 items: my name, full gmail.com email address, and gmail password 8) check “remember password” 9) click “continue” 10) TB says “configuration found in mozilla isp database” 11) IMAP option already checked 12) click blue “done” button

Then, there were some google popups:

13) in google popup, gmail address already entered, clicked “next” 14) next popup, enter same gmail password from step 1, click “sign in” 15) receive phone call for google 2-step verification and enter code 16) next popup says “mozilla thunderbird email wants to access …” 17) popup has 3 items: email, contacts, and calendar. click “allow”

Finally, back at thunderbird, it says in a yellow box: “Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username, or password”. So fails to work.

I accessed settings / privacy / passwords / saved passwords. The list is empty. "Use a primary password" is not checked.

My email screen has gone to a larger page that will not fit on the computer screen, whether in full screen or partial, the inbox is pushed off the left side, and the email previews are so large they extend half the way across from the right side. Previously most of the center was for email lists, but now it is just a small part that will only show two or three emails. How can I change it back the the old format?

I have different attachments to send to multiple recipients (200 of them..). I want to use Mail Merge of course to do this. I've added two screen captures showing how my csv file was built and how I tried to send my msgs in Thunderbird. I suspect that my data path defined in my csv file is wrong. Be aware that I'm working on a MacBook Pro. I can't see what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

When I receive calendar invites from other users, generally on Outlook, they appear in the body of the email. This means I have no means of saving them as .ics file to import into my Google calendar and have to create my own entry, often losing important information. I therefore have to resort to logging onto my bt email account on the browser where I can get the file in its correct .ics format and save it from there to import to Google.

How do I fix this and get the invite to appear in Thunderbird email as an attachment?

For the past three days I've been unable to get Firefox to load quickly as it used to before the last update. The last time this happened the problem was conflict with my security software System Mechanic. That problem was taken care of. This time I tried rebooting the computer, turning off all my add-ons, safe mode...nothing worked.

I'm using Win 10 64 bit. Can you help?

When sending a message in Thunderbird (from my desktop), apparently I can only send one CC and one BCC. The little icons for those (to the right of the "From" line" disappear once I use them one time. This didn't used to be the case. I could send as many of either of these types of copies as I needed.

I installed firefox and am trying to open the Vegas World sign in app and it's doing nothing in the tab, it will not come up. I'm so confused and technically challenged

On the Firefox mobile app, when I look at the screen with open page thumbnails, they are blank. And when I tap one of them, I only get a blank page. iPhone SE 2nd gen., iOS 16.3.1

Hello those wiser than me, When my Firefox 110 goes inactive by clicking elsewhere, the only change is that selected elements temporarily de-select and the scrollbar thumb turns color to one almost the same as the track, making it nearly invisible. Is there any way to keep it the same (much darker grey) when it is not the active window with the focus? There are a few themes that don't exhibit this behavior, but I could not find a dark one. My search on the subject yields only webpage design talk or obsolete pre v78 add-ons.

I'm on Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon with FF's built-in dark system theme. Thanks in advance.

Since the days of Go Corp.'s PenPoint and Windows for Pen Computing, I have been accustomed to select text by just dragging the stylus --- that no longer works --- for some reason the stylus has now been dumbed down to be an 11th touch input which scrolls.

Why?

How can I get back the far more expressive behavour of drag-select text with a stylus and using touch when I wish to scroll?

As an FYI, I handed a stylus and my Samsung Galaxy Book 12 (running Windows Build 1703 which predates this change) to a technician at the local Best Buy and they had no problem selecting text --- when I challenged them to select text on a Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 running Windows 11 using the stylus they were unable to to.

Could we please have an option to restore the traditional behaviour?

Settings | Bluetooth & Devices | Pen & Windows Ink | Additional Pen Settings | Let me use my pen as a mouse when it's available

doesn't seem to work when it is enabled.

Since past few years, I use Firefox for the peace of mind... But never get that.

Every now and then many sites are not supported properly.... And it severely gives now headache....

Thinking to switch to New Web Browser....

Problematic Sites are tons of tons... Here are a few...

1. pCloud 2. Mega 3. Digiboxx 4. OrgPad 5. PhotoADKing 6. Animaker 7. Powtoon 8. SBI ....etc.

Please somebody help reach this message to original developers and not community... I'm fed up of this.

Many developers also fed up of Mozilla... and stay away from updating add-ons or extensions... I literally felt helpless many times...
