I mainly bookmark pages by clicking and dragging the URL to my bookmarks sidebar as I've always found this to be more convenient. After the last two Firefox updates, this method no longer saves the page title, just the page URL.

In the attached image, the URL and resulting bookmark from dragging it to the sidebar are circled in red. The expected title is circled in orange. An example of an older (correctly titled) bookmark is circled in green. This is not a page specific issue, as it happens on every webpage.

CTRL+D as well as pressing the star icon in the navigation bar still work as expected, bookmarking pages with their correct titles.

Since the last update various programs we try to play on ITVX.com hang Firefox. Again tonight we ended up having to switch to chrome which behaves ok. End up having to crash FF from Task Manager.

scroll bars cover website-widgets (check boxes) (110.0.1 64-Bit)!! e.g., when trying to activate a checkbox at the right edge (Amazon, marking an item to cancel an order) that is not possible because the firefox scrollbar (right side) covers the Amazon checkbox, so it is impossible to mark it, and so the order cannot be cancelled!

This is an unacceptable malfunction!!

(OTOH, on MSEdge, the scrollbar sits to the right of the checkboxes without ever covering them, so it's obvious that this is specific Firefox malfunction!!!)

My email screen has gone to a larger page that will not fit on the computer screen, whether in full screen or partial, the inbox is pushed off the left side, and the email previews are so large they extend half the way across from the right side. Previously most of the center was for email lists, but now it is just a small part that will only show two or three emails. How can I change it back the the old format?

Windows11 Firefox 111.0.1 (64 bit) intermittently stops loading page while scrolling. Won't refresh or go back to previous page. No error message. Have to restart Firefox.

Is it FireFox, my NordVPN or PCMATIC that still lets me get thru to my normal websites as well as viewing other websites... OR is something that EPIC (the writers of the MYCHART) for FirstHealth.org and www.firsthealthmychart.org? Can anyone help? This is the ONLY website that will not work for 2 days so far.

I have physical limitations and need to use middle mouse button to scroll.

However, in Firefox, middle mouse button to scroll is interrupted whenever the mouse hovers over a hyperlink or linked object -- and, fun fact, there are A LOT of links on the Internet, so this equates to a very janky and sub-optimum experience, in my personal use-case.

How can I make it so that the middle mouse button functionality is not hijacked by mouse-over context? I've already tried/disabled middle-mouse-button-click-to-open-link-in-new-tab.

You know when you grab a tab, drag it out, and make another window? For some reason it's never worked when dragging to another monitor. When I let go, it doesn't do anything, and the tab stays in the original window.

I am using Norton Password Manager for all my logins. Trying to figure out how this will affect my Firefox account. I just changed the account password to one randomly generated, but haven't logged out yet as I want to make sure I can get back in. Should I logout on all devices & then log back in with new password?

I used to be able to install an extension, and than see it automatically pin itself on my toolbar now I have to select the add ons and theme icon on toolbar and manually pin each extension I install one by one. I do not want to have to keep doing this. Will someone please tell me what is going on and how to revert this back to how it originally was?

Netflix will crash when DRM is turned on. When i turn DRM off, the website won't crash, but it is impossible to watch a movie (error F7701-1003).

How do stop multiple tabs from starting up is it because i go from one page to another with out losing the tabs please help there are multiple tabs running

For the past three days I've been unable to get Firefox to load quickly as it used to before the last update. The last time this happened the problem was conflict with my security software System Mechanic. That problem was taken care of. This time I tried rebooting the computer, turning off all my add-ons, safe mode...nothing worked.

I'm using Win 10 64 bit. Can you help?

I am hosting a test website on a test domain which does not support HTTPS. In Chrome/Chromium, it is possible to forcefully "trust" an insecure (HTTP) domain name and temporarily allow it access to webcam, microphone, etc. It does not appear to be possible in Firefox. I've searched the about:config and even tried editing the configuration files directly to try and whitelist my test domain. I am not able to setup SSL or TLS on the server it is hosted on, and I need to be able to access the page on other devices. It does seem to allowlist "localhost" since I guess it's trusted by default. If there is any way to temporarily or permanently allowlist an HTTP website, I will be able to use my website on Firefox instead of Chromium, which would be much preferred.

Youtube has this issue the most. On any other browser YouTube works fine; however, on firefox, videos sutter, play at a very low FPS and if I try to interact with the page like pause the video, it takes somewhere between 5 to 20 seconds for the site to respond and actually pause the video.

This happens on other websites as well that have interactive features

Additionally, when on sites like discord or LinkedIn, if a video starts playing and I pause it the audio will continue playing and loop and overlap over itself. The only way it will stop is if I refresh the site.

I have tried updating my video drivers, reinstalling them, changing all the settings possible on my computer to make it work but nothing yet. Thanks for the help.

In the last 4 days Firefox is constantly freezing on the Tile Pages of multiple streaming sites. It becomes non-responsive, and won't let me reload or use the Home button. I have tried turning off hardware acceleration and clearing the cache and I still have the same issue.

Hi Normally, I can access my Google search add-on for scientific papers but now all I receive is the following comment: Unable to access the server. Open results in a new tab. Something appears to be blocking the normal smooth access. John Menzies

Ever since the update Firefox has been taking at least 10-15 minutes to load. The when it does finally load, I can't always get a webpage to load...at least not for another 10 minutes.

I restarted the computer, cleared the cache and cookies, disabled all extensions...nothing helped. This happened the last time Firefox updated. At the time I just stopped System Mechanic from interfering and it worked easily again. This time it isn't System Mechanic, it doesn't seem to be the extensions....what now?
