When I log in, refresh, or just open up the website, I'm met with an error message attached below. I use a HP Pavillion Laptop, Windows 11, and am on version 113.0.2 (64-bit). I've tried the following: - Make sure spotify is up to date - Restart my router - Make sure 'Widewine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc.' is enabled. - Allow Firefox to play DRM controlled content - Disabled my plugins - Tested this on other browsers (they work) - Made sure I'm not using a VPN. Oddly enough, Spotify's web player seems to function alright in Private mode and the app is fine too. I will try any all solutions presented, please.

I just installed Firefox 2 days ago on a new computer and have no problems till today. I was watching a movie when suddenly all tabs crashed. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, checking for malware, making sure firefox was up to date, clearing cache data and history, disabling plugins running troubleshooting mode and restarting my PC. Please help I cannot use Firefox at all.

So a few months ago I was having issues with Firefox so I deleted it. But today I redownloaded it, and it was working fine, but all of my data is gone my passwords bookmarks my history is there anyway to get this back.

Hello - Firefox to Safari bookmark syncing used to work seemlessly between pc and ipad. Noticed it's no longer working. I've done all the resetting/restarting/logging out/uninstalling/reinstalling recommended. It still won't sync. I ended up installing Firefox on the iPad to get the bookmarks from PC. That sync works (takes a while sometimes). But it will not ever update the IOS from the last time it worked (maybe 3 months ago). I can erase IOS bookmarks and reload from iCloud, but the files are months old.

Has this function just been removed?

I have been with FF for years now but I started to notice a few months back that sometimes a web site I want to go to would not load with FF - a blank page would come up. Also, that some sites were very slow to load. I would go to EDGE and the sites pop right up with no problems.

Some examples - StartLogic, VERY slow to load on FF. United Health Care - I bring up the site, put my login info in and it brings up a blank page. I go to EDGE with both of these programs and no problems. There are other sites that I have the same problem with.

What's going on with FF? I would like to keep using it but I am finding more and more sites that act like this.

I go to youtube, open a video and the audio plays just fine, except there is no visual. The video says its playing and I can hear it normally but I can't see anything. Subtitles show up, but the place where the video is supposed to be is just blank, the same as the background of the page. Weirdly if I click the settings button on youtube, the one next to the sign in or account button, the video will display as long as that menu is up. If I close the menu the video goes away.

I have refreshed firefox, deleted and reinstalled firefox, removed all my extensions, turned hardware acceleration off (and then back on when it didn't work) as was recommended in a similar post a few years ago, and restarted my computer. Youtube still won't show me a video. It works fine on chrome, just not firefox.

I uploaded a screenshot of an ad, which doesn't play but shows the outline of the video player, a screenshot of a normal video where the area the video should be in is just more indistinct background, a screenshot of the video appearing normally when I have the settings menu open, and a screenshot of the captions loading properly over an empty void.

Edit: I installed the Enhancer for Youtube extension? Which I haven't ever installed beofre? And now Youtube works? Why

2nd Edit: Its broken again. I changed literally nothing, just restarted my computer for an update but im getting blank screens again

Video download helper is installed but icon is missing from toolbar and cannot be found where I'm told to look when I google the problem (i.e., view/toolbars/customize). Nor can I drag it to the toolbar from where I find it when I look under triple bar/addons and themes in the upper right corner of the toolbar. Where else should I look to find it?

When I open a pdf and close it to a certain page, after reopening, firefox brings me back to page 1 and not to the last page I read. To make it a perfect pdf reader, it would be great to implement the memory of the page in use.

When I try scrolling down on this website it automatically takes me to the top of the webpage like a reset. The hardware is fine because it is happening with touch pad and external mouse both. Even though it is happening only on 1-2 website, I am not sure whether it is my browser's issue or the website itself is faulty. Also, specific part of the URL keeps on refreshing nonstop : ?ref=n2dXHxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The YouTube videos load in troubleshoot mode, so I reopened Firefox and disabled all extensions. That did not help, so I uninstall all extensions. That does not work either. Other browsers work, but Firefox does not.

My issue is a bit difficult to explain. When I downloaded Firefox on a new computer, I signed in using my gmail account email and password. I created many passwords and bookmarks. I wanted to sync my phone and laptop to this account but I already had an account on my laptop. My new computer all of a sudden notified my that my log in was disconnected. I signed back in to my account and now it is only showing my bookmarks and passwords that were on my laptop and not my new computer. I only want the things I have added to my new computer and not what was on the laptop. How to I retrieve the bookmarks and passwords that I had set up prior to Firefox disconnecting me?

os = ubuntu 22.04 - 5.19.0-42-generic Mozilla Firefox 103.0.1 I am attempting to connect to a proxy that does not require a username and password, yet moz-proxy is continually asking for one. If I put any input in the prompts, it goes away, but if the machine is rebooted, the prompts begin again. How do I permanently stop firefox from asking for the username and password?

I have a certificate issued by you which is verified OK. It works fine with:

but with dgt: https://sede.dgt.gob.es/es/ I get this message when trying to log in to 'mi DGT': XML Parsing Error: no root element found Location: https://sede.dgt.gob.es/es/mi_dgt/index.shtml Line Number 1, Column 1: Can you help find the solution to the problem.? Hi, I experience consistent tab crashes in my Firefox app on the computer since yesterday. It works only in troubleshoot mode and not in normal. I tried refreshing and reinstalling the app, installing Firefox for Web and nothing worked. Cleaning data and turning "false" preference media.wmf.vp9.enabled didn't work either. I also tried deleting all extensions, turning off recommended performance mode (using hardware) and enabling default theme. I haven't installed anything recently. Last Windows quality update 24.05.2023, last feature update 08.03.2023. Firefox app still works perfectly on my phone, so it's probably something with the computer. What can be the cause and what can I do to fix it? Added info about crashes below

Hi there I love FireFox, after years of others recommending, I finally switched and really appreciate so many great features (automatic downloads not at all though). Anyways, I have a Tivo with in house and out of house streaming to Watch Tivo web app and Tivo android app. Until recently, was able to stream anything from Tivo Box throughout house. Android app works awesome, but no longer working on FireFox (or Edge & Chrome) Research shows this is due to a change in website security which is maybe similar to FF issue?

Chrome offered advance warning/remedy..as detailed below....

I am hoping FF team can rise to the challenge and get tivo online working again for the millions of us who still use and love our Tivos.  Or maybe another Tivo fan has a workaround they can share? After researching that i found this link Chrome CORS error on request to localhost dev server from remote site

it went into a bit about how "Chrome has implemented CORS-RFC1918, which prevents public network resources from requesting private-network resources - unless the public-network resource is secure (HTTPS) and the private-network resource provides appropriate (yet-undefined) CORS headers."

So basically a public network "online.tivo.com" cannot access my local network (where my tivo is) due to this new CORS-RFC1918 standard.

The is a fix to disable this behavior for now chrome://flags/#block-insecure-private-network-requests
