Gmail freezes & keeps trying to connect. All other sites work & there is no problem with internet connection or speed. Refreshing the tab does not help. I have to close and restart Firefox. I've tried disabling all extensions but as this only happens once every day or so it is difficult to troubleshoot. I have these extensions: AdBlocker Ultimate; Copy Page Address; Copy PlainText; DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials; Enhancer for YouTube; Google Page Translate; Reverse Google Image Search; Tab Mix - Links; Wikipedia-En; YouTube search engine. Thanks.

Ver 102 just downloaded Settings are set to Open link in New Tab, not in a new window.
It doesn't work. A new window opens regardless
And I am getting really tired of these constant updates, bringing faults and need to rebuild all my settings each time. It used to be faultless. Now it fails to work properly.

So, I've migrated from Chrome to Firefox, and it's great, but I have a couple of issues now. One of them is with web push notifications from Google. First, I had an issue with notifications not showing up at all (or maybe they do show up, but the timeout is short and I miss them), but I've solved that with this in about:config set to tru:
dom.webnotifications.requireinteraction.enabled
Now, notifications do stay on until I click them, but when I click them, all they do is close, disappear. And I'm talking only about YouTube notifications, when I get them from other websites, they work fine, I click on them and the proper link opens.
Any ideas how to solve this?

"Delete cookies and site data when firefox is closed" setting not remembered - I have this ticked but when I restart Firefox, it is UNticked. I created a new clean profile, and the same thing happens with that. This started I think once I updated to version 102.0 64bit recently, and seems to have broken Twitter login - each time I have to go to settings, and clear history - after doing some experiments as to what bit of History needed clearing, it was the setting "offline site data" that was the critical one. Why won't Firefox, even in a brand new profile with no addons, REMEMBER that I have ticked ""Delete cookies and site data when firefox is closed" setting not remembered"? Firefox desktop, 102.0 64 bit, Windows 7. Thank you.

Long time ago (the latest revision 2-3 year ago) this was working but since many versions now I have this problem. Now I'm, with 102.0 and the issue is: Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to xxxxxxxx. A PKCS #11 module returned CKR_GENERAL_ERROR, indicating that an unrecoverable error has occurred.
Error code: SEC_ERROR_PKCS11_GENERAL_ERROR
I have a hardware token (smart card) and I have added in the Security Devices -> Device Manager. I'm logged in. I'm using ESET and turned off SSL/TLS protocol filtering. No other antivirus software on my PC. I created a new profile - same problem persists. So I use Edge to open that site only - which works fine.

Hello Mozilla support
I wanted to view the video at this site -
https://www.daserste.de/information/reportage-dokumentation/dokus/videos/die-recyclingluege-video-102.html
(The site is German public TV)
Firefox (my default browser) says the video is geoblocked outside Germany, and my DNS proxy will not unblock it.
I tried again with Chrome browser, no problem, the video is not blocked, didn't need the DNS proxy.
Could this be a firefox problem? It seems bizarre - a small proportion of videos from the site are in fact geoblocked, most are available internationally. And always previously, whenever I encountered a blocked video, my DNS proxy would unblock it. But not for this video.
Any ideas as to what's going on?
Thanks, Fraidy . (Firefox 101.0.1 64 bit Windows 7)

Hello Team , We are facing following issues with Firefox 98.0.2:
1. While users are accessing .SAP file earlier in Firefox 95 version , it auto - opens up directly in SAP GUI application , but in 98 Firefox Version whenever users are clicking on .SAP file ( user are accessing .SAP files from an intranet website ) it does not opens up directly in SAP GUI , its only downloading it . In order to auto-open the file , from download section in Firefox user need to right click on .sap file and select --> "Always Open Similar Files". (attached screenshot for your reference) . Please guide me how we can automate this step with Firefox silent installation .
2. I will also need help in automating , deleting Firefox taskbar shortcut during Firefox uninstallation and creating Firefox shortcut during firefox installation .
