Yesterday, 2/4/23, all of a sudden Firefox won't connect to any websites. I push a shortcut button, or type in a website and the address shows in the address bar and in the tab the dot bounces left and right showing it's trying to connect but it never connects. I have no idea what caused it. There were no updates of windows or anything else. Ice Dragon web browser, based on firefox, MS edge, chrome, Brave, all work. Anyone have any ideas where to start troubleshooting? Thanks, Darren

I have been using Firefox ver. 65.0 for yeas and i'm very happy with it. Except certain sites require me to update, such as Chase.com. I have read about some users saying that they were not happy after updating and wanted to switch back to their old version. 1. how would i be able to switch back to my current version if I find I don't like the most current version? 2. Will the user interface be much different for the current version and is there a way I could just view the current user interface before downloading/installing? 3. After switching to the current version, will my settings, auto loading tabs(for email,etc), pocket list of saved articles and other settings be transferred? Since I have never asked a question before, I have no idea where your response will be found. So i have included my email just in case it is not obvious where to find your response. I have uploaded a pic of this IceDragon Firefox treatment, I want Highlights to start open and the word and menu access area there not be present, also I want the Open Menu dots on the right to not be there, also the superfluous gear still further on the right I want gone, thanks.

First, I have no idea what I am doing re any sophisticated knowledge re Firefox or any other browser. So, please bear with me re how to understand my question.

I have no idea what I did, but after getting the latest Firefox, I cannot access Reddit. Let me explain: I was able to click on each topic/post freely on Reddit. Now when I visit Reddit, the topics/posts are stagnant and when I click on a topic/post, it goes to another page and I have to click on the URL to read the post. Also, if there are multiple pages on a post, the only page I can see is the first, I cannot click through to view anything additional.

It seems that Firefox is blocking Reddit. I hope this explains this issue.

Also, I cannot find the "settings" for Firefox now... to allow unlimited scroll and to automatically go to a new page.

msn.com will no longer allow any of my browser extensions to block display of the home page search box and other items on that same horizontal level in Firefox. The tools to select elements to block only select the entire page. In IceDragon, I can still block individual elements. I complained to msn about that.
