Two new problems: Most recent is

"firefox having trouble restoring your pages...start new session"

And...for several months, anything I print from website (i.e credit card statement) is in HUGE type that doesn't even come close to fitting the page. This does not happen when I print from Edge, nor when printing documents (pdf, notepad or anything NOT from a website), so the problem has to be in Firefox.

Hi, Since a couple of days ago the "Print Preview" feature is not working properly again. I think we had an browser update. We had another one today and I was hoping the problem was going to be fixed but it was not.

I have the Print set to old (false) mode. I have used this mode for years to print all of my documents and webpages.

This is what is happening. I do my print preview and adjust the scale number accordingly. The print preview shows, I adjust number of pages, preferences etc. then hit print.

The page that prints is not complete. Is missing the part of the right side and bottom. I have not changed any printer settings. I have also changed it back to the NEW(true) printer mode an the exact thing happens. It happens with both webpages and documents. I first realized what what going on when I printed my bank statement and it was missing the right side and bottom of each page.

THIS IS NOT PRINTER PROBLEM!!!!! Using the EGDE and Explorer browsers, the pages print perfectly so it has to be a Firefox problem.

Can you please help me solve this problem. I hate to have to use another browser just to print. I have enclosed pictures of what is happening.

Printing Problems after update

Hello Community, Upon updating Firefox today, some sites are cutting off the majority of the page and printing in the top-left corner. I've tried the following and none have helped:

Close and reopen Firefox Refresh Firefox Uninstall and reinstall Firefox Restart my computer Print from the system dialog Print from the Firefox dialog Cleared all add-ons Print from a different computer with a different FF account Print to a different printer Print to PDF

I've attached the PDF (after converting to JPG as required by this page) which was printed through Firefox which shows the issue. The same page prints normally in Edge and Chrome. I printed the same page yesterday without issue and when I did the test from another computer with a different FF account, it printed normally, the browser updated and had the problem so it's definitely something with the most recent FF update.

This may seem minor in scope since it only effects certain sites but it's a huge problem for me as I print quite a few pages from this site daily for order processing. Thank you to anyone who can help!

Printing Issues Since New U pdate

Since Firefox's new update, when I try to print a page to fit on a regular 8.5 x 11 page, regardless what printer I choose or even what paper size I choose, the Scaling d… (read more)

Since Firefox's new update, when I try to print a page to fit on a regular 8.5 x 11 page, regardless what printer I choose or even what paper size I choose, the Scaling does not include items outside the margin of something Scaled at 100%. Instead, it just reduces what I see at 100% instead of including items outside the margins of 100%. If I choose larger page size, like 11x17, and select Fit to Page Width it will work better (not perfect). However, that's not what I want. Before, I could Scale something to 70%, let's say, and it would print everything I needed on a Landscape 8.5 x 11 page. Now, the Scaling will reduce what I saw at 100%, but it won't include anything outside of the margins of a 100% Scale to include items outside that margin. I know it sounds confusing, but if you play with it, you will see what I mean.

Is anyone else having this issue, and if so, were you able to resolve it? If yes, please explain how. If not, I think Firefox should fix this printing issue.

Unable to print preview or print consistently in Firefox v90.0.1 (64 bit) on MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 with recent Firefox update. This results in lost data when printing as sections/lines of text disappear when default used, fit to page used, scale used, etc.... in preview... then mirrored (not printed) on printer/paper. Can't trust print layout at this point... causes finnicking with print settings to show data on preview, never sure if it will print this way... need reliable PRINT PREVIEW & PRINT functions... please correct

I've already found the solution, but wanted to share that Version 90 created a problem with Print Preview and Shrink to Fit. Uninstalling Version 90 and re-installing Version 89 fixed the problem. With Version 90 the Print Preview function (which I love) didn't work properly. When I try to Shrink to Fit any page, the first page shrinks, but the second page isn't pulled into the first page. Also, there's missing information on both pages. If there's another solution so I can use Version 90, please tell me. If not, and Mozilla is doing away with Print Preview (and Shrink to Fit), I'll have to do away with Mozilla Firefox. Sorry, but that's the main reason I use Firefox over Chrome. Perhaps I can find another browser to do what I want. I hope not though.
