I’m not a fan of Firefox’s homepage when you add a tab. The shortcuts generated aren’t site I’d like to be suggested and the other categories are clumsy to me. The jump back in feature is confusing to use and it was irritating that this homepage keeps popping up.
After being annoyed for years I finally bothered to “customize the homepage”. I’m happy to learn we can turn off the ‘bring to homepage after 4 hours feature’ but since I never liked the Firefox homepage I just opted to have it tab remain on the previously viewed website.
But I would like to change my homepage to my favorite news site so I selected that option and entered the url.
It does not work though and I keep getting brought to Firefox’s homepage even though the other is selected.
Any ideas?

I cannot create a domain email mask on my iPhone.
No matter how I try to shrink the screen or text, no matter what browser I use, it's impossible to enter and save the text for the mask. I can only create a new mask on my laptop, which is limiting, to say the least. See the attached screenshot: that screen is essentially frozen and I cannot enter and save the text for the email mask.

I am on 108.1. The issue is that when I close Firefox with one tab open, wait a minute or so, and then re-open Firefox, a new second tab is opened in addition to the first. If I leave the two tabs open, close Firefox, wait a minute or so, then re-open Firefox, a new third tab is opened. This will continue endlessly if I repeat the process so I end up with many tabs open which I have to manually close. I don’t remember this occurring in older versions, although I am unable to tell you on which version this started. Is there anything I can do to prevent Firefox from opening a new tab each time I open the app (so that I only get the tabs that were open when I last closed the app)? Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.

When I use Firefox on my iphone, and I leave it open to open a different app, when I return to Firefox the web page has been hidden and it offers the option for me to "jump back in" all of 10-20 seconds later! This is especially annoying when I'm making a donation through Paypal or another option that uses secondary verification. First I'm on the website for the organization I'm donating to. I leave that page to open Paypal, Then I return to Firefox to see the website I just left open, I have to"jump back in" & re-select the Organization's page, Then Paypal wants to send a verification code, so I do that, which involves going to my notifications, & Then I go back to the Organization's page finish the donation, but Firefox has hidden the page AGAIN. So to finish the donation I have to once again re-select the web page from "jump back in". It's Not Fun. ieeaah!

In this latest version, if you attempt to remove an item from the home page by a long press on the icon, when the menu pops up and you choose remove, nothing happens. Worked before I upgraded the version.
You can make that item a shortcut, visiting the page and then remove shortcut using the menu choice under the burger menu. But that is a pain.
