I used mobile Firefox without an account; I had to turn my phone in, so I created an account . I've a new phone now; those old bookmarks aren't here. How can I get them back?

Hi, When any other app in my device uses the browser to open a tab instance within the said app itself, there is no option to add to bookmarks. The only options available are - 1. To move back and forward 2. Reload the page 3. Open in Firefox 4. A toggle for the Desktop site I personally add a lot of such links to my bookmarks for further reading and it would be a huge help if an option of "Add to bookmarks" could be added to the options there. Google Chrome has an implementation of what I'm talking about and you could just look to that for inspiration.

Firefox Sync loaded all of my Bookmarks 4 times so I have this huge list of bookmarks. I want to delete them all and start over. How do I do this without doing it one by one? Also, is there a way to open bookmarks straight from the menu instead of going through several menus to get there.

Had a bit of a glitch in my gadget and unfortunately had to clear all cache in every app on my s20.

Now, my extensive collection of bookmarks is gone. (Snif)

How, if possible, can I recover them in an android? (Yup, no longer have a laptop, or PC.)

I'm running the latest versions of Firefox on Windows 10 Pro desktop, and on Android. The accounts are linked, and sync can be triggered from either device. Syncing seems to go smoothly — which is to say that neither device displays any error messages.

I'm syncing bookmarks only. However, my bookmarks on Android are not syncing with the most recent bookmarks in my Windows browser. In fact, my Android app displays bookmarks deleted years ago from the desktop browser, while not displaying recent additions/edits to the desktop browser. (For what it's worth, I use the desktop browser for nearly all of my bookmark edits and additions. My desktop bookmarks are always the most up-to-date.)

Following advice found elsewhere on this forum, I tried resetting the password for my Firefox sync account (did this on both devices) and re-syncing. However, the issue persists. My Android bookmarks aren't syncing properly.

If anyone shed light on this, I'd be most grateful for your help. Kind thanks.

The year is 2023, still no import function for bookmarks from a different browser on Android phones?

Should I just give up on Mozilla Firefox and use something else??

First off it set the search bar and menu at the bottom of the screen and I didn't know how to change that. Then I couldn't sync with all my account passwords and bookmarks previously saved on other apps. I had to delete the app because the idea of privacy is great and all but I need to get access to my preferred websites and accounts easily. If you can provide an easy fix I will give the app another try.

There is no option for me to search through my browser history of bookmarks by selecting search and entering text. The search option does not exist in my browser.

I'm sure I have the latest version and I find no way to solve this.

I have installed firefox on my Samsung S 6 tablet (bought 2022). I can't get Firefox to show a task bar (or bookmarks menu - but the bookmarks do exist from sync) and I can't add in 1password. I synced with my desktop (where firefox and 1 password work perfectly well) and tried everything I can from online suggestions - but either they haven't worked or some of the settings they refer to don't exist in the Android version of firefox. 1 Password - which is also installed on the device - does not show up in the list of add ons accessed via the Firefox 3-dot menu; and doesn't show up either if 1 password is open or closed . I've wasted hours on this and getting nowhere. Any help would be appreciated

So a couple days ago I got Firefox for android and looks great but. But after some time I had over 50 tabs open. I have a few bookmarks that I use frequently. So it's very easy to tab the address bar and select the bookmark that I want, browse and then rinse and repeat. The problem that I have with Firefox is that my bookmarks always open in a new tab instead of the current one.

I can't seem to find the right setting and browsing for about:config also doesn't seem to do anything.

Does anyone have some tips?

The Bookmarks option cannot be found on the 3-points menu, con trary to the following help topic: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manage-bookmark-folders-firefox-android#w_create-a-new-bookmark-folder There are several options like the following three, but Bookmarks is not there: Select tabs, Share all tabs, Tabs settings, etc.

What is this issue, and how can I manage tabs folders, please? How can tabs folders be managed like making a new tabs folder or rename it?
