Once a while Firefox would freeze up and when that happens it would without fail reboots the phone if the phone goes to sleep and if I don't force close the app quickly. It might've done so anyway without putting it to sleep but I haven't tested leaving the screen on long enough. I noticed that if I was quick enough and force stop the app the phone doesn't reboot, but that window is really short. Maybe 2 seconds or so. Suffice to say force stopping didn't always work since the window is so short. When Firefox freezes other apps and phone functions work normally. It's been ongoing for a while through multiple updates. I see some people have already reported this same issue here. Can Mozilla fix this please? I have uBlock origin addon installed thanks. Also this never happened with my Pixel 3 phone which I was using up until a few months back so maybe it's pixel 6a specific. Alot of people have this same issue with pxiel6a from googling. It can freeze on any site I visit but one example is reddit.

This issue started earlier this month. Sometimes, when I click on the address bar to enter a new address or something like that, Firefox freezes and I have to restart it and after the restart it comes back to the page I was in like 10 minutes ago.

Everytime I go to Michael's. Com or Hobby Lobby .com my scrolling starts to stick I like click on ornaments let's sat. It will scroll the first few then it's Jerry and no matter how many times I try to scroll down it keeps popping back to where it got stuck at. I've been a long time Firefox (and Navigator before that) user in all platforms, so it's only natural I'm using it on mobile.

When visiting theguardian.com, firefox freezes, stops rendering and causes the whole phone to stutter.

Procedure: - visit theguardian.com - scroll the home page, open some news in tabs - try scrolling further down and/or switching to tabs with news

What happens: - guardian home page, as well as other pages stop rendering and are blank above and below the viewport (see attached screenshots includ9ng screenie of this page. yes, I'm writing this again, had to kill FF) - tabs with news don't render at all (are blank) - when minimizing firefox, whole phone stutters. - usually, after some minimizings and maximizings, firefox renders ONE news tab. - sometimes only killing FF helps

The phone is fairly recent with the latest Snapdragon 8 and 12 gigs of ram.

Yes, I disabled all plugins and cleared the cache and all data.

I did what you told me to resolve the problem. Didn't work! It's probably some barf sack of government shit creature stealing control over my machine, that I pay for, like the rest of these fuck from hell Canadian life stealing, life wrecking, life sucking Canadian intestinal worms I hate more than Satan hated Christ. That like stealing control on MY LIFE after I voted this country, government and people the fuck out of my life with their forced fuck from hell canadian citizenshit at the federal and provincial elections.
