What happened Nov 06 2022 -- Android FF lost most recent mobile bookmarks and cookies (including my great wordle and facle scores -- sad)

I was trying out the sync option. I was using my laptop and android. Got it working fine with the regular Firefox. But decided I wanted to stay with Fitefox beta. So I turned off sync and uninstalled regular Firefox from my android. And then I go to my laptop, yep, all my bookmarks are gone. I guess when I took it of my phone it also deleted it from my laptop. I've gone to library, to deleted, reinstalled the regular Firefox on my phone and synced back with my laptop. Nadda. Any ideas?
