When I open some PDF files in Firefox on my android tablet (Samsung S6 Lite) the text is severely compressed, like with no space between letters, making it unreadable. Opening the same PDF in Firefox on Windows 10 laptop renders the text cAndroid? I assume the issue has to do with the PDF extension Firefox is using to open PDFs.

How can I control what reader is invoked on android? Is this an issue embedded in Firefox for Android?

I read a lot of PDFs in my researching and need help. At least aim me in the right direction.

Hi!

There has been this weird text overlap whenever I use google image search in Firefox Android, I've tried: - Restarting the app - Reinstalling the app - Updating to the latest version (107.2.0) 

But still the issue persists.

This only occurs on google image search in Firefox. This doesn't happen in Chrome and not on other search engines inside Firefox.

Any idea what might happen and how to fix this?

After installing Firefox for android I noticed that webpages were appearing very washed out, colours faded, blacks rendered as grey etc. It seems similar to this issue https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1329680 Trying the resolution there I noticed that about:config just loads as a blank page.

The issue is dependent on the theme active when tab was created. For example if the browser is in light theme and a tab is created, then you change to dark mode, pages will continue to render vibrant until a new tab is created. Conversely changing to light mode pages will remain faded until a new tab is created.

This behavior is also present if the Theme is set to follow OS if OS dark pages are faded, if OS light pages appear normal.

I am using firefox 106.1 on a S22. Since the update whenever i open a website, all i see is black canvas. I have to either open another tab and switch back to the the website for it to render or minimise Firefox, open another app and switch back. Once the website is showing, the session gets normal and i dont see the problem till i exit the browser. This has been happening only after the update. Any clues please how to resolve this?
