In the past few weeks i cannot sign in to my accounts with different vendors like Amazon. A pop up window appears when I click on "Sign In" and the window states, and I quote: "Open in another app

                                                                                                         Would you like to leave Firefox to view this content?"
                                                                                                          Cancel                     Open 

If I click on Cancel it will let me enter the email or phone number in the site pop up box. But, once entered and pressing the continue box, which would normally take you to the password box, it brings up the same window as above. Then it does not matter whether i click on Cancel or Open, it will not give me a password box and will not take me to the site. It presents a page that states We're sorry, The web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site. So, I cannot call any Firefox Tech person and get this straightened out. Also today, the website icons I have saved to my home page were greyed out today. I went to Verizon and they determined it was an issue with Firefox since that is how I accessed those sites and used that search engine to save them to the home screen. I decided to reload those one at a time and then erase the greyed out icons. When I got the 3rd one done the other 29 became live again. Not sure what is at issue here but i do need assistance. I'm trying to develop a mtls based login, currently on macos. I have a certificate chain with 3 certificates (CA->intermediate->leaf).

Firefox prompts to select a certificate, but only the leaf is sent to the server. However when I try it on Safari all 3 are sent.

It tried both non-trusted ca and trusted ca, but I can't get it to work.

Is it something in the certificate definition? Maybe a flag I need to toggle in FF?

Thank you for all you do for those like me. God Bless you all. Firefox is straight up. Google Play on this android phone is Corrupt. I reported to Google but they did nothing. The play store is not in the USA. It will not up date correctly. Apps on phone constantly change. An case I'd was sent in regards to the google cloud platform back in Sept 2022. That is when I first told then. Nothing done. Version of Play not up- dated. Cannot sign out of Google Play. I am disabled and very little monies. So I guess that's a good reason for my problem to be ignored by Google. I came to Firefox because I was so tired of the abuse of Chrome. There are apps on this phone like Chrome are being enabled even though I have tried to remove all access. I live a very simple life. Immune problems keeps me from contact with others. Limited. My doctors contact me by tele-med. I depend on this phone. Please help. Thank you gw

With the new viewing pdf files in Firefox 111 I cannot download the file to downloads to save it. Can Firefox be modified to allow the option to either view the pdf file or download the file to downloads?

Where do I go in settings in order to make Firefox my default app. I went into apps and found Firefox and clicked on it and made it my browser and now it's saying I don't have internet.

On my Android 12 Motorola phone watching YouTube on Firefox for Android, I am seeing captions/subtitles both on the YouTube screen and separate from the YouTube screen overlaying the page. I do not have a caption add-on. I can turn the YouTube screen captions on and off using YouTube Payback Settings, but I cannot see how or where to turn off the captions overlaying (see screenshot) the YouTube web page/Firefox for Android app. Any help would be appreciated.

When entering a login in a other app, which I have saved in Firefox, I will see the "Unlock Firefox" button appear in my keyboard, with an icon for the fingerprint sensor which is my primary screen lock, but clicking it does nothing. Sometimes this corrects itself for a while and at random times comes back. I have found other users in the Help section having this problem but have found no solution or setting that causes it.

Hi, recently my firefox for android has stopped downloading pdfs from my universitys webpage. It now opens the document as a link in the browser and there is no easy way to download it (or maybe I am blind and just cant find the option, not sure at this point). The links look like:

Is there some "automatically download files" option or similar? In any case, thank you in advance!

I have followed the directions to change settings for pop-up blocker but when I go to the permissions section of Privacy&Security there is no BLOCK POP-UP WINDOWS with a checked box next to it. So I cannot make exceptions.

In older version I could download any document and save it to pdf,but this version you can not do it,and it disturbs a lot,so please fix it,and another problem this version is too slow to open it lurgs a lot. Thanx.

Can't find anything about it, just presumably on browser Firefox. When I accidentally tap "Bing search", it opens up Microsoft Edge, which I don't even have. Deleting Bing as a search engine does nothing. So yeah, please help?

hi. recently on firefox android when i choose my desired login accounts on websites, after i tap on them, nothing will happen and i should fill them manually. i have my account sync for a long time a it is just happening recently. how can i fix it. thank you in advance

When I play YouTube videos the audio functions but I get a black screen. Tried it with add ons disabled still have problem. Videos play in other android browsers (opera and chrome) and in YouTube app but not in fx.

Cleared cache, cookies, restarted phone, checked for system updates. Not having problem with non YouTube videos.

Using fx version 110.1.0 (Build #2015936097).

The Mozilla article says to go into about Firefox where you will be able to view which version of Firefox you are using. How do I know if this version is the latest version?

The article says that the best way to update Firefox is to do it from Play store. It says to tap on the my apps link to see which apps need to be updated but there is no my apps Link in Play store.

How do I determine if I'm using the latest version of Firefox on android?

I've deselected to not have any shortcuts on my homepage from my history & they're still popping up. I only want the short cuts I save. I either have to delete them one by one or clear my history (which I might need sometimes) to get rid of them. It's annoying me enough to not want to use Firefox. I want a neat home page without any clutter.
