I can see how to export my Thunderbird PROFILE but not how to export just my address book. I need to import my address book into my wife's Thunderbird address book. Exporting just the address book does not seem to be an option at all... Or is it?

I have four individual accounts which were all listed in a combined inbox as well as individual account inboxes. After the update to 102.1.2, the unified inbox only contains emails from one of the accounts. The other accounts are still listed individually. Is there any way to fix the unified inbox so it includes all the accounts again?

If I reply to an email and then print out the result, why does the reply print in black and the original email in blue? It doesn't seem the same as the "marked as read" advice. If, before I reply, I print out the original email it prints in black. I'm using an Epson ET-2750 but appreciate I would have no problem if I used my Brother mono laser printer. Is there a way to have all printed in black on my Epson?

I am not seeing images embedded in some HTML emails in the Viewer Pane, and I find no Settings that control that, nor entries in the View menu.

Any help would be appreciated in being able to see complete emails, including images, in the Viewer Pane.

Thunderbird is a 102.1.1 and it says it is up-to-date. I keep getting an error message every time I open Thunderbird that it cannot update to 102... I couldn't find anything on-line concerning this issue. Thanks for any info how to stop the error from popping up.

Can anyone help , I have thunderbird installed for my business emails , for a long time I am having trouble with it not syncing , certain emails will show up on my phone but not on pc { from the same address they will show up sometimes & then not the next time} its driving me crazy, can anyone help ? [Have it installed on my phone , laptop & Pc} I am regretting ever installing it , I never had this problem with other email providers.

Hi all, I am currently running Thunderbird 102.0. Everytime I start it a message pops out after a while saying the latest version cannot be installed automatically and should be downloaded directly from TB website. When I check for updates in TB it says its updated, even though I know its not since theres now 102.1 out. On the website it says that the latest version is not available as automatic update for versions 91 or older but since I am running 102.0 it should be installed automatically right? The same problem is happening for like 3 months now. Its like TB stopped the automatic updates. It frustrates me having to manually download and install every new version or the constantly popping up message asking me to do it. Any idea how to repair it?

Also strange thing I noticed when I checked the history of updates it says the latest update installed is 91.9.0 from 5th May 2022.

I have been using Thunderbird as my default email for years and have run into my share of issues. Out of nowhere, starting this morning, I am unable to send emails from Thunderbird at all. I spent about 2 hours on the phone with my service provider trying to figure it out. The unfortunate conclusion I have come to, is that unless you can fix this issue for me, I will be using Outlook going forward. Let me be clear, I HATE OUTLOOK! but I am running out of options other than to throw away the email address I have been using since about 1990.

This is the message I get when the email does not send. This particular one was to trs.ky.gov, but it doesn't matter who the recipient is, the only ones that don't get this message are those I send to myself.

Your message contains invalid characters (bare line feed characters) which the email servers at trs.ky.gov don't support. reb Office 365 julie.soard Action Required Recipient

Bare line feeds unsupported

How to Fix It It appears that your email program added invalid characters (bare line feed characters) into your message when you sent it. Try using a different email program to send your message. If the problem continues send this non-delivery report (NDR) message to your email admin for assistance.

This error occurs when the email program or device used to create or send an email message adds bare line feed characters into the message. When bare line feed characters are included in a message, the SMTP protocol chunking feature is required to transmit the message between email servers. Chunking uses the SMTP protocol BDAT command, but the recipient's email server doesn't support the BDAT command.

To fix the issue, the sender should send the message using an email program or device that doesn't add bare line feed characters to messages. Most modern email programs don't add bare line feed characters.

If the sender is using a device like a fax machine, printer, or scanner, it's likely an older model that doesn't support the SMTP protocol BDAT command. To fix this error, you'll need to replace the device with a newer model that supports the BDAT command. The industry standard recommendation to support SMTP chunking was published in 1998 so most devices manufactured during the last decade support this feature.

Another option is for the email admin at the recipient's domain to upgrade their email servers to servers that support the SMTP protocol BDAT command. Most modern email servers support BDAT; however, some free and older email servers don't support it.

Everything was fine until TB downloaded latest version 102 on 8/2/22, now I can't receive/send emails. (Had Verizon which migrated to AOL and after dealing with that mess, finally got everything working up until now (8/2/22). My emails won't download, I get an error box saying "authentication server/settings are incorrect and need to change". Both smtp.aol.com and pop.aol.com settings have been OAuth2 since 2021 migration. Tried deleting my @verizon.net saved passwords and changing settings back to normal password - that didn't work; just keep getting additional error popups saying "login to server pop.aol.com with my email address can't be found". No problem getting emails on my iphone, just pc. I'm not a computer geek, if anybody can help, please keep it simple/step-by-step. Thank you!

When thunderbird tries to connect to gmail, I get the gmail log in page. Your page on fixes https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=gmail+on+thunderbird says: "After you have gone through the OAuth process" but doesn't say how to do that. I followed all the steps. I never see any such process. I just keep getting the google log in page.
