Since installing Thunderbird for windows v102.3.0 (32-bit), I can't dismiss a calendar event, which keeps looping to ask if I want to save or dismiss change for an "item changed on server" message. I rec'd the invite externally from Outlook. Neither option works; I can't delete the calendar entry either ... the event is stuck in an endless loop and will not dismiss. I'm now one day past the event date/time and still can't dismiss. Pls advise. Thank you.

Hi. I followed directions to open a Thunderbird account, [edited] @fencemail.com. As required, I paid for a Domain Name: [edited] @micalone.org, from Ghandi, including a VAT Tax. I got an intercept, that a problematical HTML(?) was missing, whatever it is, with nary a hint nor link to fix the problem. Horrors! Unfortunately, I am not a computer whiz, and most computer technical verbiage is like hieroglyphics to me. I am in a dilemma in that I do not have the proffered Internet address. Do to a nasty virus, I no longer have access to my old ISP address, [edited] @juno.com, hence the need to open the highly recommended Thunderbird account. So, I can not send or receive email to resolve this HTML problem. Is the U.S. Postal Service a viable option? If so. my postal address is: Nick Micalone, [removed address information from public]. If someone is intimately familiar with the Thunderbird enrolling process, I will gladly pre-pay for the postage and associated costs for a fix by simple instructions. If this helps, I do have the Thunderbird logo on my desktop. Hopefully, the Thunderbird wizards can fix this remotely, at their end. Best regards, Nick M.

my mozilla thunderbird client is blocking all emails from a sender "@loveadmin.com" This is a valid email sender, it is an sports admin based system. These emails are not even appearing in my Junk folder. I have added it to my address book but just seem to disappear down a hole somewhere. What specific settings need to be set to enable these emails to be accepted by Thunderbird.

how and where do I set up "Safe Senders" in Mozilla Thunderbird? Have looked at some previous anwsers but they all refer to using Options setting which isn't available in Thunderbird tools tab

I used to backup firefox & thunderbird profile using MozBackup and it saved it as a pcv. When my computer crashed I need to get another motherboard & hard drive and now I seem not to be able to restore my profile using Mozbackup. It says everything was ok but has not restored profile in thunderbird. Can anyone help as there are important emails I need to reply to and with out my old profile I cannot reply.

why is all my safe senders coming in to the junk email folder? I have a safe sender file that outlook is not looking at, all email is going straight to junk email which means I have to sort all emails out over and over all day long. Why?

Thunderbird adds a double-space when you hit Enter in email messages. Is there a way to make it single-space? I've looked around on Settings, etc. and can't find one.

In November of 2020, I was forced by ATT to stop using Thunderbird as my email client, for both incoming & outgoing email. ATT changed its security protocols, and that required that I begin (at that time) using ATT's (pathetic) email client.

I have used the very clumsy, very limited ATT / YAHOO email client ever since... and, hated every minute of it.

I had previously used Thunderbird for 10-20 years, literally, and I loved the dynamic functionality which Thunderbird offered.

Since then, I have hated my ATT / YAHOO email experience, and I would like to start using Thunderbird again, if that is possible, considering the ATT security protocols.

Can anyone help me ?

My wife shares my computer with her own account and email address in Thunderbird. When she sends me an email, my name instead of hers is listed as the Correspondent. Can that be changed to her own name?

Hello, I might be asking the wrong people this question but I have to start somewhere. When ever I press ENTER while writing a letter in the ThunderBird E-Mail program I get a complete line skip. This makes the letter look very funny. Thank you for your attention to this matter for me.

Is the ability to delete unstarred messages through a certain date still available on Firefox...I ewas insteucrions but I can't find a column heading or a date heading or any of that given the instructions.. help please Skip

I have 2 email accounts on Thunderbird, a Yahoo account and a GMAIL account. Whenever I receive an email on either account, it appears as an email on BOTH accounts. This results in a completely duplicate list of emails on both accounts. My intention is for incoming emails to appear only on the account to which they were sent. How do I accomplish that? I want to move TB from a win 7 machine on the C: drive to a win10 machine on the E: drive. I downloaded a fresh copy of TB to the win 10 machine and installed it in the D: drive. Completed set up and can send/receive emails. I copy/paste the profiles folders using a usb stick, putting it in the same folder on the D: drive as TB. However, TB doesn't see it. In Troubleshooting help, Environment variables, it clearly shows the roaming folder as C:, while the program is clearly D:. What have I done wrong and how do I correct it please? Screenshot of Environment variable below.

Emails that have been opened and are around 1 month old, drop off my viewing pane, how do I set it up so I can see older emails that I have opened and wish to keep? It is only with this email address [email]@bigpond.com my other email address (hotmail) is fine?? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide. Simon Ewen
