Sometimes I do not receive messages from Booking.com or from Airbnb. (We are a hotel in Thailand, I am working for the reservations and planning.) Sometimes I can not send a message; (see message received from Mailer-Daemon@yourhostingaccount.com below): 'This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

 fa430211@skynet.be
   all hosts for 'skynet.be' have been failing for a long time and were last tried after this message arrived'

Hi, I needed to clean up my Inbox as there were a few corrupted emails there which couldn't be deleted and prevented the Compacting process. Firstly I created a new temporary folder and moved (dragged) all the good emails to this folder. I then ran a Repair Folder on the Inbox and all the corrupted emails disappeared - all good so far. I then attempted to move all the emails from the temporary folder back into the Inbox folder - this removed all the emails from the temporary folder but nothing appeared in the Inbox. I checked all my other folders and the emails are nowhere to be found. Please advise how I can get all my missing emails back. Thank you

Have one PC that thunderbird is crashing on. Program appears on the screen for a second or two then crashes, then I get the crash report popup. I tried starting thunderbird in safe mode and had the same results. Hi, For a few months now, I've had random issues with mail attachments. I cannot find specific conditions but it seems some attachments are not correctly downloaded by thunderbird while others are. In my latest issue, it concerns a pdf file attached to an email i received. If I try to open the file, thunderbird show a blank tab. If I download the file on my computer, I get a corrupted pdf file that is only 34bytes (thunderbird says it should be 218Kb). On another recent email, a 506Kb attached pdf file is working correctly. It is a gmail account and if I go to the gmail webmail, I can see/download the file correctly

Any help would be appreciated

I keep getting error messages "Authentication failure while connecting to server imap.gmail.com"

I have reinstalled the app twice but still facing the same issue.

I have allowed cookies aas well but still getting same error.

Earlier, the issue was like once a week. Now it happens every hour.

Please guide.

  could you please tell me how to add IMAP account with self signed certificate? 

SMTP is working right, I can make security exception for hostname:465 when using it first time.

Now comes the hard part: I cannot add certificate from cert. manager via address like: hostname:993 or any other way. If I expose dovecot at port 443 I can make exception for hostname:443 - but it still not working for 993.

Could you please fix it?

My installation was updated as of 11/17 to ver 102.5 but the update message completed on 11/19 since I have automatic background installation set for my option.

I currently am not able to download any messages from my provider to the any of the 3 inboxes set up under the installation. The get messages button does not do anything. My provider has a POP server and I am unable to send any mail outbound either; the message is that the SMTP server is unavailable or not accepting connections at this time.

Tech Support from the provider denies any server problems and in fact, in using a web browser connection to the mail server, all the incoming mail is visible and can be accessed.

Any ideas on what fixes I can make to restore the ability to see current mail in TBird??

Hello.

I use Thunderbird 102.5.0 (32-bit) on Windows 7.

Server is with Office365.

I have not had a problem before, but recently the "Sent" folder always dissapears, and if it does then messages that are sent cant be saved here so the progress bar get stuck after sending, where I have to then "Cancel" and then exit the email windows. The email still sends but doesnt get saved to sent.

The only times it gets saved to "Sent" is when that folder happens to be present, by itself you could be looking at it in the menu and it just dissapears. It's on the C Drive and not on any removable drive.

There is no issues with "Sent" folder on another email address that I use Thunderbird with.

Ever since I updated to 102.x I keep getting a "folder could not be found error" TB disables the filter and remove the folder form the filter actions. I immediately add the folder back to the search actions and reactivate the filter and it runs just fine. This occurs almost every day with different folders. It appears to only occur on the first launch of the day.

The error code in the filter log is 0x80550009

I'm using TB 102.4.1, it occurs on an IMAP account, the folders are used the 2 saved searches and a filter, the folders are set to synchronize, and the compact all folders when it will save over ___ is enabled. Although I don't have any evidence to support this, I believe that the searches, filters, and/or automatic compacting of folders are somehow interfering with each other.
