I'm trying to use Thunderbird with GnuPG, I've set up an external GnuPG key in the End-To-End Encryption page of my account, but every time I try to send a message I get the following error: ` The configured key ID ‘0x4XAX1X6XC5D0XX70’ cannot be found on your keyring. ` I've also tried using the whole key fingerprint, same error: ` The configured key ID ‘0xBX3X5X119XCX4DX85XE56X0B4XAX1X6XC5D0XX70’’ cannot be found on your keyring. ` When I run `gpg --list-secret-keys` the key is there: ` sec rsa2048 YYYY-MM-DD [SCA] [expires: YYYY-MM-DD]

uid [ultimate] My Name Surname <me@domain.tld> ssb rsa2048YYYY-MM-DD [E] [expires: YYYY-MM-DD] ` I can't figure out how to make it work without importing the key into thunderbird's OpenPGP key manager.

I am on Thunderbird 102.5.0 (32-bit) The authentication of my University of Glasgow e-mail account has to be change to OAuth2. I have tried to do so but there is a problem. When I try to change the Outgoing Server (SMPT) from Normal Password to OAuth2, the drop menu does NOT contain the option 'OAuth2'. The 'OAuth2' option is available in the Security Settings Authentication method drop menu.

I have made the recommended checks on cookies and java script etc. They are set as instructed.

I had to change my password with provider Shaw. Now when I start Thunderbird e-mail, and it asks for my password, it does not remember it, even though when I look at the saved passwords, it is there. I have to enter my password every time. I can then access my e-mail accounts with Shaw, but it is a nuisance.

Any suggestions?
