I'm amazed, just AMAZED I can't find the answer to this with a simple google search, or searching the questions here, and I re-worded my search several times. All the answers I could find, even chatGPT (I know it's not alway sup to date) told me to use this option even though I specifically told it it wasn't there, is anyone aware that sometimes the option isn't there? What gives? Not blaming anyone specifically, but this a really simple question, I'm I the first person it's ever happened to?

I'm trying to fix a sound problem where videos will not play, and this is a suggested step. The sound on youtube videos plays with Google Chrome, so it's not my sound drivers, just with firefox it doesn't play. One of the steps as well was the clear my info, I cleared everything except history, I wished there was a way to back those up, I'll look it up.

Starting firefox in safe mode doesn't fix the problem either.

A webpage has 1,200 rows.

I do Select All or drag the cursor from the first row to the last row to highlight all of the rows.

I then do Copy.

When I do Paste (using Match Destination Formatting) to paste the copied rows into an empty Excel spreadsheet, only about 65 rows get posted.

What am I doing wrong?

Can you please let me know, if any alternative way copy all bookmarks from Avast Browser To Firefox browser.

I have tried Import Wizard from Firefox but unable to see Avast Browser in the list, restart the pc and re-launched firefox import wizard , still unable to see Avast brower in the list

Run the firefox installer again - no go

We downloaded the GPO Templates for AD and looking to customize Firefox.

We would like to disable Forms and Autofill: Autofill addresses Autofill credit cards

Also would like to lock down so they can't reenable if possible.

We would like to do this all through GPOs if possible. I found these in the about:config: extensions.formautofill.addresses.enabled extensions.formautofill.creditCards.enabled

But again want to do through the GPO. Is this possible?

Side note while working on GPOs, I set Exceptions for the popup blocker and they are not showing up in the browser. I also filled out to remove Search Engines but they all still appear in the browsers. These two GPO settings don't appear to be working.

I am extremely angry that I decided to move from Chrome to Firefox for a safer browser just for Firefox to lose all my login information I accumulated after some years of use. I am not sure when or how this occurred but I never received any notification that nothing was syncing or I had been logged out. I want all my login information restored. On top of that, I've always had issues with Twitch.tv and any video site crashing. My only concern is my logins being restored.

I constantly get logged out of ESPN on Firefox. Doesn't happen on any other browser using the same plugins. It's inexcusable for this issue to persist for nearly 6 months now. The worst part is that I can't log back in. The "Log In" button won't work and I'll have to sign all the way out of ESPN+ just the sign back in. It's happened 26 times this year. Firefox is getting worse by the day.

I know there are ways , with more clicks or longer shortcuts to get to some folders but this is the main and most easily accessible way to get to my bookmarks. I know this has been discussed in some older posts but they are all archived so I can't ask any questions there. Sorting by name, for me, is quite inconvenient as sometimes the bookmarks title isn't immediately, easily remembered. Thanks.

Can you suggest firefox browser settings that might be getting in my way? PNC bank suggested turning off my malwarebytes protection in order to use their site! Not an answer that makes sense to me.

I will also try to contact malwarebytes for their suggestions.

I use mozilla on two machines. They both have gotten to where they lock up when trying to access a second page. The normal place they lockup is "waiting nexusensighten.com". I talked with etrade and they had me try MS edge. It works without a problem. I've started having the same problem with yahoo mail.

I deleted cache and cookies numerous time. Etrade guy had me just type etrade.com to get started. It didn't help.

I update automatically. Thanks for your help.

Usually when I start my browser for the first time, I have the Firefox homepage only. For two weeks ago, suddenly an extra tab show up when starting: A page with a commercial for installing "Avast Online Security & Privacy (Add to Firefox-button)".

I use Avast, but I don't want this add-on. And I certainly don't want that extra tab every time I start my pc.

I have three times searched for a solution all over in the Mozilla & Avast settings and on the net: I should go to "Add-ons and themes" - "Extensions" - and on the list "Manage Your Extensions" I should remove this add-on - but it's not there of course, because I didn't install it.

So how do I remove this tab from showing at start-up? (Google Search can't help) Appauling that someone put this tab on my pc in the first place. Both Avast and Mozilla have other ways to communicate with me about that add-on, if needed. Now I had to shut it down every day for two weeks, because I was way too busy to write you until now.

Firefox version 113.0.2 on Windows 10 Displayed: Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_MALFORMED_RESPONSE

Website loads fine in Chrome and Edge. Certificate verified as valid. Website hosted on SquareSpace. This is a known issue with Firefox as there are many reports with Firefox falsely reporting this error with websites hosted on SquareSpace. Occasionally happens with major sites such as google.com.

I can't change the language my websites are being displayed in. I changed every setting to english but websites like instagram and youtube are still showing in croatian (because I live in Croatia). I will attach a couple of pictures to prove it.

We have released a browser add-on that works with apps using NativeMessaging, but it stopped working after updating Firefox to v114 on Windows 10 (64bit). We have confirmed that it works up to v113.0.1. The browser add-on manifest is v2. In the Mac version using the same browser add-on, the application can be linked even after updating to v114. The behavior of the bug on Windows is similar to the behavior when NativeMessagingHosts is not written in the registry. Is there any information about solutions to problems or causes?

like the title says, i installed the latest Firefox update and my graphics driver started crashing every few minutes. tried updating my graphics card driver (Nvidia RTX3070) and tried to set the browser to software rendering, but nothing helps, it keeps going black and restart every few minutes.

There really should be a option to revert from a update, i had this a lot with Firefox, troubles after updates. And with no way to fix it, so i have to use another browser until it is fixed..kinda troublesome.

Automatic video play has been quite a nuisance in spite of using some recommended measures, such as under Firefox Settings => Privacy and Security => Permissions => Autoplay => both options set to Block Video & Audio and saving. The settings change does not appear to work.

Since I mostly use the Portableapps.com version of Firefox, I suspected it might be the issue, after noting once you restart Firefox, that the settings are both back to = Allow Video & Audio! I immediately checked out a separate standalone Firefox installation which I updated to 114.0 (64-bit), but to my dismay, noticed it does also not keep the preferred "Block Video and Audio" settings, also when the browser is restarted.

So is there a bug in the Windows versions I use on my Win 10 64bit and if not, which would be strange, what is going on, why are the settings not kept and how can effectively stop auto-play, which can be a nuisance.

An example of such videos is on Huffpost, such as https://www.huffpost.com/entry/jake-tapper-brianna-keilar-cnn-gop-race_n_647ece5ce4b0b4444c80b001 where the DeSantis video immediately loads and starts playing. The Settings save does not appear to work at all.

Everything worked normally for me for 2 years, but recently i decided to reinstall windows. So i did it, downloaded firefox on raw system and now i get this error on some youtube videos. I tried everything i could find but nothing fixed this issue. It pops up with firefox account, without it, in private vindows, in regular ones, with addons, without them. I tried reinstalling firefox, i updated every driver, i use google DNS, but it still doesnt work. In edge, chrome etc. theese videos play fine

Dear support, I'd like to ask you about auto-update option enabled in Mozilla Firefox. In our company we have Mozilla Firefox ESR onboarded and in use. One of our security report showed that Firefox version we use across company is vulnerable - because not all machines have the latest version installed. So I was a bit surprised because I know that auto-update is enabled for this application. I've checked it on my machine and I've got the latest version once I open Firefox and check via "About" button, right after that I've got the latest update installed. Together with my colleague we checked it on her machine whether it's really needed to check the version manually and then update is installed or is installed in the background and seems that my colleague got an update without manually checking the version, she just left the app open and after some time we checked the version and it was already updated.

My question is - is it enough to have Firefox open and it installed the latest version in the background without any action needed from user? Or user has to manually check the version and afterwards the update will be installed?

Another question I have, is the application vulnerable even if the app is not open?
