I see this issue posted in other questions but none of the solutions given works. For one, the click on items you talk about don't exist, like the "Firefox Options and/or Preference" is no where to be found, top left click on Firefox Icon or top right bars. The right click button does not work in your browser at all. I don't have this issue on my work computer or my work laptop and they are running the same version, 1140.1. I am use to: Right clicking Firefox icon in tool bar and a menu coming up that allows for several choices. Right clicking in the top bar with page tabs and being able to put the bookmark menu bar up permanently (the main reason I use Firefox, ease of accessing bookmarks which Chrome and IE make ridiculously difficult}. How do I get functionality of my right click back?

I updated. There was then supposed to be a 're-store session'. Didn't happen. And I'm not about to read a thousand pages of twaddle to find out why. Firefox actually just sucks. My tech installed it. I'm going back to Safari.

I can't figure out what's gonna happen next with, I suspect, a new whiz bang deal w. The rule used to be something like: get new new button and one would magically appear - no questions, what kind, etc. The new stuff may be great for those starting out, I have used the same browser for, literally, years. I i'm not questioning that the new way is better, or worse, I am simply lazy and don't want to change my ways.

After a trip on which I used several other internet connections, my Firefox has become very unstable. It is prompting me to shut down Firefox in order to open the next window. It is also flickering on the refresh icon. It is also blocking adult content. I have refreshed the Firefox browser but that changed nothing. I am not sure how to troubleshoot to look specifically at these problems. I am fearful of trying to delete and reinstall this program as I do not use any other online browsers and do not want to install them. Can this be troubleshooted remotely without risking malware?

Starting with Firefox 113 (on Debian Linux), every few days Yahoo mail stops working properly: I can read emails but hitting any action of them, like Reply, Move, Delete, does nothing at all.

I need to clear cookies to get this operational again. This doesn't happen on chrome on the same computer.

The only add on I have is an adblocker, disabled for yahoo mail. This problem also happens with enhanced tracker protection turned off.

As the attached screenshot shows, my browser fails to correctly show Arabic characters in textboxes. Sometime, the same problem happens when loading a page too. I tested it with Arabic, Persian and Kurdish keyboards and still get the same problem.

My Firefox version is 113.02 (64-bit). I use an Apple M1 Pro (Ventura 13.2.1).

Firefox 114 suffers from huge memory leaks when there are videos on sites (ie. youtube). RDD Process grows up to 8GB and system becomes less responsive. Then Firefox crashes after a while, but there's no report included. I tried manually disabling extensions, but it didn't help. However, problem isn't present in 'troubleshooting mode'.

Basically in my online banking with chevron to login button is grayed out and won't allow me to login, including comcast account Continue button is grayed out. This is an urgent matter because I can't get comcast online application for new account completed.

I want to enable search suggestions, thus I enabled it from Settings >> Search >> Provide search suggestions (all 4 boxes are ticked). Furthermore, in about:config, I have the following parameters set to true:

• browser.search.suggest.enabled
• browser.urlbar.quicksuggest.allowPositionInSuggestions
• browser.urlbar.quicksuggest.enabled

I even downloaded the DDG extension, yet despite all that, nothing gets suggested. Just the history.

This is the case for many search engines I tried (DDG, startpage, Brave, SearXing).

Please let me know what I'm doing wrong, I've tried everything.

after Firefox updated all saved passwords and log ins are missing. I have checked and I only have one profile available. At a loss as to what to do to fix the problem. Help would be very gratefully received.

I was wondering if anyone knew why I am having this issue. On occasion when I walk away from my computer with Firefox running (usually 20-30 minutes) I come back to find the browser itself has closed, including Private/Incognito tabs. Everything else on my computer has continued to function as per normal, nor has the computer itself seem to have restarted itself. It is only Firefox that this is happening with.

When I enter either of these internal addresses, it fails:

http://dfa shows: Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site. We can’t connect to the server at dfa.

http://rpi-m92a-ad82:3003/ Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site. We can’t connect to the server at rpi-m92a-ad82.

Both issues are similar, but neither work as expected.

dfa is an alias for a longer name such as dfa.int.example.com. The local DNS (/etc/resolv.conf) will reply with the correct IP if asked for "dfa" but not "dfa." due to the dot forcing the Fully Qualified Domain Name to be "dfa." only. We wish to opt to leave off the rest of the url.

For the raspberry pi, it is a mDNS. So doing "rpi-m92a-ad82.local" works. But this used to work long ago, and ended 10 or 20 updates ago as best as I can remember.

How can I convince Firefox to query DNS, then query mDNS, and if both fail perform a search?

My recent activity rows have stopped updating. Before whenever I started a new show on a streaming website they would update and have the new show I was watching in the recent activity panel and that made it a lot easier for me to reopen the website and resume watching my shows but for some reason they wont update now and previous shows keep showing up.

I have an issue when displaying the contents of a list box, it contains a list of countries and does not display in alphabetical order in Firefox, but does display correctly in other browsers such as safari, chrome and edge. Is there any configuration to resolve this issue?

When using Chrome, I can easily save a website article on Google Drive from Pocket by printing as a pdf. However, when I try to perform the same activity when using Firefox, I get the dialogue box below. I really want to make Firefox my default browser but not being able to save from Pocket (or the web) to Google Drive when in Firefox is a deal breaker. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
