I have a lot a devices. I would like the majority of settings/etc to be synced with my account but I would also like to be able to have some add-ons excluded. For example I use Persepolis download manager for the devices that support it but not all my devices support it. Result is I have to toggle active addon every time I switch devices as it syncs.

if i have the "clear cache" addon: and i have 2 browser instances open, when i clear the cache, does it clear both instances or just the one whose button i clicked ?

I know there are ways , with more clicks or longer shortcuts to get to some folders but this is the main and most easily accessible way to get to my bookmarks. I know this has been discussed in some older posts but they are all archived so I can't ask any questions there. Sorting by name, for me, is quite inconvenient as sometimes the bookmarks title isn't immediately, easily remembered. Thanks.

I've got a problem with add-ons while using Squid MITM Proxy with a custom certificate for Firefox/LibreWolf.

While I'm trying to update / install an extension / theme, it fails with:

How can I install an add-on while using the MITM proxy?

I'm amazed, just AMAZED I can't find the answer to this with a simple google search, or searching the questions here, and I re-worded my search several times. All the answers I could find, even chatGPT (I know it's not alway sup to date) told me to use this option even though I specifically told it it wasn't there, is anyone aware that sometimes the option isn't there? What gives? Not blaming anyone specifically, but this a really simple question, I'm I the first person it's ever happened to?

I'm trying to fix a sound problem where videos will not play, and this is a suggested step. The sound on youtube videos plays with Google Chrome, so it's not my sound drivers, just with firefox it doesn't play. One of the steps as well was the clear my info, I cleared everything except history, I wished there was a way to back those up, I'll look it up.

Starting firefox in safe mode doesn't fix the problem either.

I have been trying and searching but I could not find a suitable answer. Figured I try asking the question here.

Is there anyway or what is the policy that I can configure to disable the "New Tab Ctrl+T" function on the menu please? Attached image.

Video download helper is installed but icon is missing from toolbar and cannot be found where I'm told to look when I google the problem (i.e., view/toolbars/customize). Nor can I drag it to the toolbar from where I find it when I look under triple bar/addons and themes in the upper right corner of the toolbar. Where else should I look to find it?
