My iPhone is in dark mode, but websites on Mozilla are not automatically shown in dark mode, so I switch to dark mode in Mozilla too in order to make websites appear in dark mode. However, many images are shown in negatives now.

Domain name email stopped working yesterday. My Comcast email is still working fine. Geek Squad cannot figure out why - other than its some sort of Thunderbird issue. I can still get the domain name emails if I specifically go to/through Outlook.

   Is this because Thunderbird only deals with POP or IMAP formats (no longer supported by microsoft as of 6-5-23) vs: microsofts 'newest thing' the EXCHANGE format?   Been getting emails from GoDaddy(my domain name host) for past month or so informing me of the change coming.  
  Had Geek Squad go through my email settings back on May 24 and then again May 25 (because of created glitches from may 24) via remote access from India(or someplace like).  This was done to be pro-active about the upcoming EXCHANGE format requirement.  Everything was 'supposed' to be fine - and appeared to be, until last night when I started getting pop-up messages stating:

"Login to account mail@briansb.com failed / Login to server outlook.office365.com with username mail@briansb.com failed" as well as "Login to account Comcast failed / Login to server smtp.comcast.net with username webx@comcast.net failed". So, is my theory correct that Thunderbird just doesn't have the programming needed for the EXCHANGE email format ? Can this be remedied or do I need to move on from Thunderbird? Any suggestions for an email program as close to what Windows Live Mail was? Brian webx@comcast.net

As of today (06.08.2023) I cannot access any of my emails hosted by Outlook.com through Thunderbird. Everything worked just fine yesterday when I left. The error I am getting is "Incorrect Password" even though I have double checked it and it is indeed correct. I can access my emails through the browser logging directly to Outlook.com just fine (ironically using the password which "does not work" in Thunderbird). I have not changed any settings. Does anybody else have the same problem? Thanks!

How do I stop firefox from preventing my mac from shutting down? All other open apps are closed and data and settings saved automatically by apple when i hit shut down but firefox just stays open and prevents shutdown until i close it manually.

If I use Chrome, this does not happen.

When I use Firefox, Every. Single. Time. I log into gmail, all the instructions are in Chinese. If I just log out, default is Chinese. Do I need to change my email address? Gmail is my work email, also, and it doesn't happen with that account at work, but the default browser is Chrome.

Yes, I've repeatedly changed the language back to English. I have 2-step verification for logging in. I just changed my password, closed all browsers, reset trusted devices. Did not help. If I use Mozilla Firefox, when I type in gmail.com, my email addresses are in English; everything else is Chinese.

I used Firefox to log into QB online morning of 6/8/23. Afternoon of same day I was kicked off and unable to log back in. This morning I contacted QB and we were able to log in to QB online from my computer on another browser. I updated FF today and still can not log into QB. I saw an other article about the same possible but they had a problem with an extension but I dont have that extension but still have the same problem. Whenever i watch twitch or youtube and i alt tab or switch tabs my audio and video stops playing.

I have the latest version of firefox as of 6/8/23. I want to be able to click on a link and the + sign on the upper left webpage, (next to the tab) to open a new window, not a new tab. I have been able to do this since firefox was invented many years ago, but suddenly the option for that in settings appears to have disappared. When I uncheck the box in the tab section in settings, "open links in tabs instead of new windows", it is still opening links in tabs. Is there a way to stop the link from opening in a new tab, and instead open a window in a new browser any more? If not, I will be sad to switch over a browser that can still do this. Hopefully someone will provide a solution. While many online posts refer to a "options" button, I only see "settings" button (when I click on the three lines in the upper right).

In a new message in Thunderbird, when i insert a table of certain rows and width, then i start wring inside the table cell, i find that the width of the cell (of the Table) is constantly getting changed as I write. The width of the said cell should not change in first place, and i find that i am unable to adjust the cell width to my requirement. Please guide me. Thanks and Regards

I know there are ways , with more clicks or longer shortcuts to get to some folders but this is the main and most easily accessible way to get to my bookmarks. I know this has been discussed in some older posts but they are all archived so I can't ask any questions there. Sorting by name, for me, is quite inconvenient as sometimes the bookmarks title isn't immediately, easily remembered. Thanks.

Currently, I am using version 102.12.0 (64 bit) and my OS is KDEneon 5.27

I have multiple email addresses (using IMAP or POP) which are filed under "Local Folders" ("Dossiers locaux" in french)

A) In the "Folders" view, I would like to be able to have one folder per email address.

B) And, similarly, I would like that for:

"Account Settings" -> [e-mail] -> "Copies & Folders" :

1)  "When sending messages, automatically:" -> "Place a copy in:" -> " "Sent" Folder on:"

2) -> "Message Archives" -> "Keep message archives in:" -> " "Archives" Folder on:"

3) -> "Drafts and Templates" -> "Keep draft message archives in:" -> " "Drafts" Folder on:"

4) -> "Drafts and Templates" -> "Keep message templates archives in:" -> " "Templates" Folder on:"

get a folder named after the email address, not in "Local Folders" as is currently the case.

But that's not what I want.

If I have an email address using the POP protocol, I want to keep it in POP, but having its own folder in the "Folders" view

In the same vein, if I have an email address using the IMAP protocol, I want to keep it in IMAP, but having its own folder in the "Folders" view.

Anyway, for my addresses using the POP protocol, I often have many more emails than my supplier agrees to store on his server.

In short, if you have a solution, it will be great.

I have Thunderbird installed on my Windows 10 Desktop PC. When I open the Calendar tab, in the left column under "Calendars" I have four calendars showing:

• Home,
• Contacts,
• My Calendar
• one labeled with my e-mail address.

How can I get rid of three of them without losing the data? Is it possible to merge them into the "My Calendar" one? Thanks in advance.

I'm running 113.0.2 (64-Bit) on Ubuntu Focal.

I just wanted to log into my bahn.de account, got prompted with a hcaptcha which I correctly answered and then got an "503 Service Unavailable" error. The problem is reproducible each time I try. It was working fine when I last tried about 2 weeks ago. I tried disabling addons and tracking protection, deleted cache + cookies + login data as well as cookie files, reset Firefox - no change. Fun fact: The login is working without issues and interestingly even without captcha showing up in Opera and Epiphany (Gnome web browser).

Any suggestions for debugging would be very much welcome. Any hint on why the hcaptcha shows up in Firefox and not in Opera and Epiphany is much appreciated, too.

A webpage has 1,200 rows.

I do Select All or drag the cursor from the first row to the last row to highlight all of the rows.

I then do Copy.

When I do Paste (using Match Destination Formatting) to paste the copied rows into an empty Excel spreadsheet, only about 65 rows get posted.

What am I doing wrong?

Starting with Firefox 113 (on Debian Linux), every few days Yahoo mail stops working properly: I can read emails but hitting any action of them, like Reply, Move, Delete, does nothing at all.

I need to clear cookies to get this operational again. This doesn't happen on chrome on the same computer.

The only add on I have is an adblocker, disabled for yahoo mail. This problem also happens with enhanced tracker protection turned off.

I noticed that on Brave or any chromium based browser (Android), I would be able to just simple highlight part of an URL and then the whole url would be automatically selected. This behaviour is not possible on Firefox (Android) and I would have to manually select the whole URL myself. Please see here for a clearer picture: demonstration Is there a setting that I can possibly turn on to have the same function as in Brave or chromium browsers?

Usually when I start my browser for the first time, I have the Firefox homepage only. For two weeks ago, suddenly an extra tab show up when starting: A page with a commercial for installing "Avast Online Security & Privacy (Add to Firefox-button)".

I use Avast, but I don't want this add-on. And I certainly don't want that extra tab every time I start my pc.

I have three times searched for a solution all over in the Mozilla & Avast settings and on the net: I should go to "Add-ons and themes" - "Extensions" - and on the list "Manage Your Extensions" I should remove this add-on - but it's not there of course, because I didn't install it.

So how do I remove this tab from showing at start-up? (Google Search can't help) Appauling that someone put this tab on my pc in the first place. Both Avast and Mozilla have other ways to communicate with me about that add-on, if needed. Now I had to shut it down every day for two weeks, because I was way too busy to write you until now.

Firefox repeatedly crashes when attempting to play video or audio files of whatever type, in every web page.

I.e., just opening a YouTube page without playing the video is fine, but when I click on Play, it instantly crashes.
