default calendar for new appointments

Can I set a default calendar for appointments?

I display several calendars in Thunderbird but +90% of my appointments are kept on only one of these calendars. When I open a dialog box to schedule a new appointment, the most-used calendar rarely appears so I must manually change the selection of calendar for the appointment to the correct calendar. If I forget to make this manual change the appointment ends up the the wrong place. Ouch!
